OMG the pretties!!! Arms, arms and more arms!!! I was extremely distracted by Sam's and Dean's pretty, pretty faces ( and arms! ) to really concentrate on the story itself, not to mention the pants that leave absolutely NOTHING to the imagination.
1. Now if that nurse had been a real nurse, her finding Sam and Dean together in that room? She would totally have reported that to the doctors and they would probably add incestuous tendencies to their current diagnoses of pathological co-dependancy, paranoid schizophrenia with narcissitic personality disorder and religious psychosis. A psychiatrist's wet dream indeed though that doctor didn't seem all that happy. Huh.
2.The girl that Dean saw in his hallucinations - wasn't she Meg's new meatsuit?
3. I was totally hoping that Sam's telekinetic powers would resurface when that nurse's pointy weapon almost skewered Dean. You know, the way he saved Dean in 'Nightmares'. But that would bring up Sam using his demonic superpowers again and I guess the writers didn't want to go there. At least not yet. But yes, I was disappointed with that.
Overall, not a bad episode. I'm putting it together with Fallen Idol, The Children Are Our Future and The Curious Case of Dean Winchester. But the boys' ridiculous prettiness? That's a whole different league altogether, a class of its own!
Boys in blue robes that emphasize their broad shoulders and general ... largeness nicely.

Forearms! Arms! Tight white tees!

Yup, nothing left to the imagination at all.

Pretty boys!

Pretty!Sam

Pretty!Dean

Date: 2010-01-23 08:52 am (UTC)For Silkwood reference, it's when Dean asked Sam: I gather in the movie, the main character Karen Silkwood who worked at a nuclear power plant underwent a radiation detox shower where there was high water pressure and hard scrubbing.
As for Silence of Lamb, when Dean first met his head!Doctor, he said to her: and did that lip thingie, a pretty impressive impression of Hannibal Lecter I might add.
