Best episode ever. Jared was great. But Jensen? He was amazing.

This shot? Absolutely took my breath away.

But this? This would totally give me nightmares tonight, no dream roots required. But I wouldn't mind getting a bit of Dean's hair though. Or Sam's. Probably not Bobby's though.

Dean and his dream double. I was like, holding my breath during the ENTIRE scene. Seriously. In case I miss a word.The jacket, the car, the music. And Sammy. GOD!

Seriously great acting from Jensen. His ever changing expressions - utterly awesome.

Okay. This was when I cracked up. I was absolutely howling with laughter when Dean said "Brad Pitt?" Toni, I said Brad Pitt, didn't I? Didn't I? *bounces*

YES YOU DID! And I actually laughed out loud (and is is gone 1:30am here and the hubs has been in bed for hours)! HOW DID YOU KNOW! Though I don't know if I can forgive Sam for dreaming of Bela. *shudders* I hate her with a passion. But part of me was relieved as I had thought they were gonna try and pair her with Dean and that I could not handle.

Dude, I am so overwhelmed right now. I have so much love for this episode. And Jensen. OH JENSEN. I am so fricking proud of him right now. He excelled. And I just want to get down and kiss Kripke's feet cos this is what I have been waiting for all season. *laments* And just as it was hitting its stride the writers strike happens. I was watching it alone and I went to wake hubby up but he way gone so I had to watch it alone omg the dream sequences were CREEEEEEEEEEEPY!!

Agreed - not worth the third billing at all. Jim Beaver should have had that for sure. Oh at the start I thought they were gonna hurt Bobby, perhaps even kill him, and I was all "Oh no, you leave Bobby alone. Fandom will hunt you down Kripke if you kill off Bobby", then it came out he was just in a coma and needed rescuing and oh hell yes those dream sequences were creepy. Though Dean did look good with black eyes!

That scene when Dean walked in on his dream double sitting at the desk? For a moment there I thought that was young Sam. Wouldn't it be awesome to have Dean meet young Sam in his dreams? But I guess it'd be pretty impossible for Sam to play teen!Sam now with *those* shoulders.

But oh Dean, when he said that he didn't want Sam in his head, I thought there was a HUGE Wincesty subtext there :DD

That whole scene was made of win. And so well done - from Jensen's mad acting skills to the writing and the awesome fight scene. *hugs crew* Oh now imagine if it was - Sam is Dean's personal demon! *glee* They could have done it with present day!Sam too as yes, those shoulders *nnngggh* don't say "wee!" at all, do they?

So did I. I think Dean got off pretty lightly really. Who knows what else Sam could have been witness to if the creepy stoner dude hadn't shown up so quickly.

I saw this XXXXL shirt at a dept store a little while back. That was the first time I saw a shirt of that size, and I was like, OMG, Jared is HUGE!! I know he's huge but seeing the evidence with my own eyes. No wonder Jensen looks tiny next to him :DD

I agree, this episode was amazing! Dean telling Bobby he's like a father... the complete "Awww" moment with Lisa... Dean always being there for Sam...

Actually, I'm a little bit confused about Lisa. I didn't watch the episode with her and Ben in it. So was Dean in love with her or was she just a one night stand?

While watching this I thought the writers had been reading everybody's LJs and all the discussion communities because it had, like, EVERYTHING everyone has been saying in the episode emotionally! All at once!

Jensen looked even better in this episode to me. I don't know whether it was the lighting or what, but his face looked a little slimmer, more angular, something. Great episode for him to show his acting chops.

I loved Sammy dreaming about Bela...and drooling!Sammy!!! I hope the fans don't get all upset and worked up over it (although I know they will) because really, we can't help who we have sexual dreams about sometimes. People often dream about people they hate, like having sex with their most unfavorite teacher or even a parent. It just happens. I think the writer was trying to add humor and make a point about how normally our dreams are not controllable.

And then Sammy couldn't get up right away 'cause he had a hard on!!!! I loved it!!!!

I loved the demon!Dean telling Dean about how all the things he has were given to him by his father, so he has nothing, but especially that the demon included giving Sammy to Dean!! Yaaay!

And yes, I totally want to go live in the pretty blue house with all the lovely flowers. :-D

I thought last week's episode was great but this one was even better. And hopefully the next two would be even greater!

Yes, there's something about Bobby that makes you just want him as your uncle or something. But what a sad backstory. I'm hoping that they'll pair him off with say, Ellen!

I loved the whole show. Bobbie's a great character, and the scene with him and Dean was so good. That house! When Sam walked outside and they showed that beautiful place, like you, it took my breath away. But the climactic scene, with Dean facing his own demons, was sensational Jensen has become an amazing actor. I was just blown away by the whole thing. And that demon Dean? Chilling.

You know what it reminded me of - all those wide open space and dream-like quality? Elijah's 'Everything is Illuminated'. I kept expecting sunflowers to pop up here and there!

Demon!Dean is very Devour-like, I think. Have you seen that movie? Not a great movie but it had Jensen all spattered in blood, just like Demon!Dean minus the black-eyes, which creeped me out big time.

Now I can't wait for the next episode to air. Oh please please Sam, you HAVE to save Dean!

It's quite a horrible movie actually. But there are plenty of awesome Jensen-scenes. He was brilliant when he was with the lady who played his Mum, and awesome with his Dad ( who happened to be his RL Dad as well ). And yeah, there's the orgasm scene which I guess is the reason why fangirls watch that movie. And the concensus? Jensen did *not* know what to do with a woman heheh.

Dean was outlandishly pretty in this episode, even as his Demon self. Unbelievable, all the way around. My favorite episode of the season. Perhaps...of all time???

It's also the creepiest since 'Provenance'. Bobby's wife, demon!Dean - that felt good, getting scared shitless after 8 episodes of blah.

He looked so thin without his leather jacket. I didn't realize that belonged to John as well. Oh God, Dean!!!

Jensen was beautiful, his expressions perfect and how hard must it have been to do the scene where Dean faces off with Demon Dean? Just brilliant!

I've watched it three times already. I LOVE it when demon!Dean flicked the study lamp on and off just when Dean walked into the room. I thought that was a very nice touch!

And Dean not really having anything that actually belonged to him - omg the angst! - except Sam, perhaps. Sam belonged to him the minute John put baby!Sammy in his arms after the fire.
