I was watching 'Tru Calling' the other day, the one where Jefferey Dean Morgan guest-starred, and I was tickled by this image.



And the cards were held by none other than JDM himself!


And me being the fangirl and all, I squeed out loud at seeing those cards. It's kinda reminiscent of this scene in FPB. Pity it wasn't Jensen himself holding those cards *g*


Any idea whether JDM was still appearing in SPN when he was doing his guest spot in 'Tru Calling'? I wonder whether those J3 cards made him think of his Supernatural sons.

*sighs*

I don't mind Misha Collins of course but I do miss the ex-senior partner of The Firm!

Plenty of ways John can make a comeback - flashback episode, dream sequence, John coming back as a spirit. But JDM is probably too expensive nowadays. Unless he's willing to do it for old times sake :))

Do you know there was a plan that they actually asked Jensen to play as Tru's boyfriend? Sadly, Jensen couldn't make it. Then they cast another actor to be her boyfriend and the boyfriend's name was Jensen. :D

Tru Calling was the year before supernatural. Actually, Jensen tried out for the part of Tru's boyfriend and was offered the role. But he decided to take Smallville instead. But they really liked him, so they named Tru's boyfriend after Jensen (who ended up being played by Eric Christian Olsen who appeared in Fired Up this year with Danneel Harris, Jensen's girfriend, and also with Annalynne McCord who is on 90210 with Dustin Milligan who was Corbett in the Ghostfacers episode.) I also really enjoy these little connections. =P

It's a small, small world. And who would have thought the man playing Eric would one day star in a show created by another man named Eric, or he who had a sister called Sammi would one day have a brother called Sammy? :)
