AI and some YouTube problems

I'm sad to see Brooke go. She and David Cook are my favourites from the very beginning. I love her voice, I love her sunny personality, I just love her! But yeah, the last couple of weeks have been quite bad for her, she made some awful song choices, and as much as I love her, I don't really see her as the American Idol. I teared up when she sang for the last time just now :/

David Cook was awesome as usual. There's just something about that man that makes me go all wibbly. He's not really good-looking in the usual sense of the word but I don't know - the smirk? The sidelong glances? That voice and the way he made each and every song his own? How I wish I could vote for AI!

Speaking of David Cook, I kind of like to see he and Brooke together. Oh I know Brooke is married, but I got this ... vibe when I see them together. They almost always sat/stood next to each other and he looked heartbroken when Brooke sang just now. Hee, it's not often that I get off on random het pairings, but yeah, David / Brooke works for me :))


On another note, I found out that I couldn't play any of the YouTube vids when I went to that site just now. It said - Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Why did that happen? I could play the vids if they're embedded elsewhere but not from the site itself. The site seems to be okay on my hubby's laptop.

Do I really have to download the latest Flash Player? Can anyone help me please?

Oh, I haven't seen it yet, but i guess i'm not really surprised about Brooke...i loved her at the beginning too but kind of went off her recently...just shows how important song choice is i guess :(

And i can't help with youtube, sorry...i think they've changed stuff on their site, cos when i was on earlier, there were all these different features...so you might have to download it :(

I still love Brooke despite her poor performance. God, her rendition of 'Let It Be' gave me goosebumps! Oh well, now I can concentrate on David Cooks alone and I don't have to worry about Brooke forgetting her lyrics or something :)

Yeah, i could still play them...but i just downloaded the latest version of flash not so long ago so that's probably why!

I loved her singing Let it Be...if she gets any sort of deal out of this, she should stick to singing that type of song :)

Youtube has been wonky for me too, tonight. The video won't load fully. Maybe it's just some maintenance issue. Try again tomorrow, perhaps?

I've installed the new flash player and re-start everything and I'm still getting that same message. Geram!!!!! I wanted to watch some of Brooke's earlier performances and I can't :/

Yours is wonky, too, then? Guh, I hate it when that sort of things happen, because I'm a total idiot when it comes to anything remotely technical.

I guess you must have installed it by now, but yeah that's what you need to do. It's a very small file, completely invisible unless you need it heh.

I was sad to see Brooke go too. Think Syecha (or however you spell her name) isn't anything new you know? *shrugs* Brooke was breath of fresh air.

Omg it's okay now but not after some frantic hairpullings. Because apparently I have to uninstall the old version first, then I have to clear my browser cache and delete all old cookies, then only could I play it. God, I'd totally be pushing my eldest to study IT when the time comes.

AI is getting really confusing. I've never liked Brooke, and have been waiting for a long time for her to go, but I felt really bad for her at the end. I thought Jason was going to be booted; I love the guy for reasons I can't quite explain, but he's just not trying hard enough. I don't think he really cares about winning.

I still love David Cook, and I know what you mean that he's somehow attractive without being really good-looking. I really think he should win. I think Syesha has had some great performances lately, and I want David Archuleta off my screen right now! Dude just bugs me.

I know what you mean about Jason. I feel exactly that way, too, that he can't wait to get out of AI. He has a lot of supporters, though, and he had never been in the bottom three or two, so he'd probably be around for at least two more weeks, IMO.
