Just finished Book Three Part 2 - A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold - of the ASoIaF series and I'm still reeling from the twists and turns and shocking turn-of-events. Though I have to say that Part 1 was a bit slow, but Part 2 more than made up to it, it's fast-paced and thrilling with its punch-to-the-gut revealations at each chapter.

I'm so glad that Jon refused Stannis's offer of Winterfell. It just didn't seem right to me and now that I know that Catelyn is still alive, I'm doubly glad that was so, because Catelyn would be a formidable enemy and I have no doubt that she would be his enemy if he were to becoma Lord of Winterfell, despite Robb having named him as his heir.

And also, I'm happy that he made his decision before he knew that he'd be the new Lord Commander of The Wall, and OMGOMGOMG how awesome was that??? And he now has Ghost by his side who seems to be more fearsome than before. Go Samwell for making that possible!

Poor Sansa, her life seems to be one sad turn after another. I'm kind of into Petyr ( though I suspect that's more because of Aiden Gillen than anything else ) but it freaked me out when he kissed her. I want him as her protector, not a potential suitor!

I hate Tywin but with him gone, it looks to me that the Lannisters are now losing their sting as The Villains. Not that I'm counting Cersei out. Oh wow, a confrontation between Cersein and Catelyn would be EPIC.

And also, I'm so happy that the scissors are gone \o/

I am now so confused about what I'm reading... I think book 3 part 2 is technically the 5th book? If so, I'm embarassed to say I haven't read it yet and have scrolled down so as not to see what you've written. :)

Just watched Season 2 part 4 and I'm not sure I like how they are digressing... smacks of the way I felt about LOTR but not quite so rabidly.

I will get cracking on the book I have and get back to you. :D

No, it's the 4th book. I've just started on the 5th book, A feast for crows. But don't read what I wrote above if you're not sure, there're spoilers right, left and center ( front and behind, too, lol ).

I was somewhat troubled after the first episode, and I was thinking that I shouldn't have read the books until after I've seen it on TV, it was so diffrent than when it was in my head. But it got better after the 2nd episode, and better still after that. They did change quite a number of things, didn't they?

One person I really like a lot now is Renly. I don't remember him being this cute before in season 1 lol. Too bad about what's going to happen to him :(

And hey, you're back!!!!
