TV round-ups.

House 7.09 : I totally approve of Candice Bergen playing Cuddy's mother. If Murphy Brown ever had a daughter, I can so imagine her being like Cuddy. Omg, I couldn't believe that House drugged her and Wilson. My poor Wilson *cuddles him*

V 203 : I probably should have seen that one coming but I didn't. They haven't really said it yet but come to think of it, I think Tyler could very well be Anna's son and Lisa is Erica's daughter. I wonder how Erica's going to take that. She adores Tyler.

Bones 610 : I'm so going to latch on to whoever takes a romantic interest in Brennan. In a way, it's somewhat a bit the way I took to Castiel. He was there when I was so frustrated with the Sam/Ruby thing but while I don't hate Hannah that much, she's messing with one of my favourite het OTPs. I don't know if I could ever get into Brennan/Booth wholly again. Haha, but ironically, it's Hannah who's there for Brennan. Hmmmm. I wonder whether there's a Brennan/Hannah pairing in the Bones fandom?

CSI:NY Wot? No show last week? I was really looking forward to the new episode as I'm really into Jo now. Love the ex-husband angle. I thought it cute when Jo immediately went off the minute she saw her ex coming in lol. I want to know more about her! So far, there's her daughter ( whom I love! ) and the ex. I wonder whether they'll introduce her mother on the show ( wonder who'll play her ) or she'll just remain as someone she talks to on the phone.

And I've just seen the first episode of S1 NCIS. It was such a wonderful surprise seeing lots of people that I like there, other than Mark Harmon that is. I didn't know that Michael Weatherly's in it, or Sasha Alexander. Or David MacCallum. WIN!

SPN this Friday. Aargh, and I've been accidentally spoiled. I thought the episode that has everyone up in arms ( yes, that ) was going to be the next one, so I clicked on a link and it turned out that *that* ep is 615 so I was totally spoiled with a completely different ep *bangs head*

[livejournal.com profile] chloe_amethyst, so that's the episode you had been hinting to me!! I thought it was the X-Files one. Eeeeeee, I'm so totally looking forward to that now ( which is not necessarily a good thing because I always seemed to be disappointed with the anticipated ones ) but still, it's DRAGONS!!! I dare say it won't be anywhere near as good as [livejournal.com profile] kellifer_fic's dragon, or [livejournal.com profile] aramuin's, but, yup, DRAGONS!!

I have no problems with Brennan/Booth not getting together, however, I want/need them to be friends and sometimes I get really wrong vibes between them. Not sure I like these new episodes. I mean, something feels wrong. :(

Ohhhh. I really love those old days of NCIS!!! :)
Yes, many lovely characters. David is SO sweet!

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
I thought Brennan and Booth were sweet together, a bit like Mulder/Scully, but now I'm just annoyed with Booth!

Heheh, the actor who played George Bush was awesome!

[identity profile] suzy-74.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
You're probably ahead of where I am watching but I've seen others be annoyed with Booth and that is why I don't like where it seems to be going. Cause I have always liked Booth and I want to like him still. :(

I have started rewatching Bones from season 1. I have 4 season so I'll have a lot of rewatching to do. :)

Again, yay for the good old days. I hate to say it but there seems to be a line drawn around 5 seasons for TV shows, after that and if it's still going something seems to happen not to my liking.

Btw, I saw Gregory Itzin's name being credited in the pilot episode of NCIS and I was all excited to see Charles Logan but he wasn't in it :(

OMG! I love NCIS! It's totally addictive, you know. I watch, maybe, 2 or 3 episodes a day and I never get tired of it. :D

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's season 8 now, isn't it? I've only got one season of 24 to watch yet so NCIS came at the right time!

[identity profile] i-o-r-h-a-e-l.livejournal.com 2011-01-27 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
Dragons? I didn't know there'll be dragons. Oops. :P

PS. Do you watch Castle?

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
Ack! I might be mistaken of course. I quickly closed the window once I realized it wasn't the episode I thought it was, so maybe I was wrong about there being dragons in it. But if there were dragons, then I'm one happy camper. Dean and dragons are made of win!

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
I watched maybe a couple of episodes of Castle and I might have gotten into it if I hadn't so many series to watch already. It was rather good but I had some problems with the girl being TOO SEXY and TOO PRETTY for a cop. Not that I mind the actress, I thought she was awesome as this sexy spy in 24, but as a cop? Hmmmm ...

You're a fan?

You got me confused. What did you expect of 615? I don't even remember which spoiler was for which ep now.

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
I don't usually click on spoilers but 615 seemed to generate even more reactions than usual which made me very curious so I clicked.

:: SPOILER ALERT :: Don't read further if you're not spoiled already.

615 is the one with Sam and Dean in an alternate reality verse where they meet Jared and Jensen.

The upcoming episode ( 612 ), which I initially thought was the alternate reality episode ( 615 ) was actually another one, one that I knew nothing about before but which apparently has dragons in it. But I might be wrong about the dragons since I quickly closed the window once I realized that I got the wrong ep!

I don't watch any of those shows!

I just watch.... what do I watch? Spn, Hawaii 5-0 and English junk. Great Railway Journeys round the uk, Big Bang Theory, The Tudors oh and this *WONDERFUL* programme called One Born Every Minute about babies being born in a hospital maternity unit. I end up bonding with everyone of the mums in labour - I'm such a sap.

I watch more tv than I realised!

Do you know BBC's Outnumbered? I read the plot and I was tickled.

Outnumbered is about the Brockman family of South London, whose two parents are "outnumbered" by their three somewhat unruly children. The father, Pete, is a history teacher at an inner city school and the mother, Sue, is a part-time PA. The three children are thirteen-year-old Jake, whose teenage sarcasm and obsession with girls worries his mother, nine-year-old Ben who enjoys fighting and coming up with hypothetical questions like "who would win in a fight between...", and seven-year-old Karen who asks too many questions.

Sounds familiar? :))

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
Aah, my TV nights are not yet complete. I'm still waiting for the new seasons of The Amazing Race and Survivor!

I'm glad you like NCIS! It's definitely my favorite show!

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
I'm fast-forwarding to the current season. I want to watch it while people are discussing about it, then I'll go back to the earlier seasons, which was what I did with 24. The final season got me hooked then I went back to watch the first season.

I only knew Michael Weatherly, when I first started watching NCIS, and I wasn't prepared to like him because I remembered being meh about Logan on Dark Angel.

Yeah, that lasted maybe ten minutes and Tony is easily my favorite NCIS character.

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
He looked so young in NCIS! He looked even younger ( and cuter! ) than when he was in the few episodes of DA that I managed to watch.

Have you heard? Apparently SPN will be on NEXT week instead.

I kinda forgot what happened in the last episode. :/

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-01-28 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
It has been postponed? I haven't checked my flist today.

Last ep? Hmmm, let me see. I think there was Death who helped Sam get his soul back.

I'm getting into it! And I'm so happy to see Mark Harmon looking as good as he did before!

[identity profile] suzy-74.livejournal.com 2011-02-10 09:43 am (UTC)(link)
If you're gonna watch NCIS and start at season 8 the episode 8.14 just shown in the US is a "flashback episode". It will spoil one major event that absolutely shocked me when it happened way back then.

If you then go back watching S1 etc you'll find some character facts have been slightly altered along the way.

I gotta say I love this show. Mainly because of the actors I think. I really love this bunch of people and I can feel they have a lot of fun doing this show.

Oh, one more tidbit, seeing as you saw the first episode of S1. That wasn't the pilot. Team Gibbs first appeared in J.A.G in two episodes and after that they decided to go ahead and making NCIS.

[identity profile] layne67.livejournal.com 2011-02-11 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
I was quite excited to see Michael Weatherly there. I knew him from Dark Angel, not really an avid follower as I only watched the eps which were Jensen-centric. When I first saw Tony's character, it was somewhat of a deja-vu feel for me, that I thought his character was familiar and I didn't quite know why. Then someone told me that Weatherly shaped his Tony character along Alec's from DA, and Alec was Dean Winchester's sort of prototype!

So NCIS began as a spin-off to JAG then?

I'm still trying to get used to a much older-looking Mark Harmon!
