And I thought that I've read them all

I was reading [livejournal.com profile] semaphore27's 'This is the Way the World Ends', rec'd by [livejournal.com profile] sophinisba when my eyes were drawn like a magnet to this *points excitedly*, right at the bottom of this Masterlist, see, it's there - 'Cloudbursting' ( Orlijah for [livejournal.com profile] slackerbitch ), and from there I found out about 'Journey's End' - six whole chapters of them!

The story is good, it feels real, as if it really happens. While not exactly a sad story, it's not a happy one either. Bittersweet, that's what it is. I felt like crying and laughing at the same time.

Here's the first chapter. The rest of it can be found in the afore-mentioned Masterlist. And 'Cloudbursting', to be read after the final chapter.

Thanks for the rec. I read the Journeys End series (this morning) but I don't think it's ever going be continued. :( Because it's from so long ago. Sure was lovely and bittersweet and well-written.
