SPN gen, written almost 3 years ago and I've only just found it, thanks to spnstoryfinders. Short, bittersweet, packs a punch, it makes me cry each time I read it, and I must have read it at least half-a-dozen times already.

Summary : Post Devil Trap. For the first few days, Sam expects his brother to remember as Dean lives each day like it's a new day. Reminiscent of Drew Barrymore's '50 First Dates', this is Sam being the only anchor in Dean's life.

“Well, you’ll just have to shake it off,” Sam says, and he loves this moment, so much: “’Cause Dad’s waiting for us up in Seattle.”

Around 11 pm. Sometimes later. I order a cab. So, I can read, though it's only about 15-20 mins to reach home. :D

Wow, that's quite late! I'm at work until 5.30 only, and I reach home around 6.30 pm.
