Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana announced the arrival of their second daughter together, Gia Zavala, yesterday. And on the same day, Matt's BFF, Ben, announced that he and Jen are expecting their second baby.

It's so, so endearing that Matt and Ben seem to be continuing their childhood tradition of doing things together ( or almost together ). Ben married Jen in June 2005. Matt married Luciana 6 months later. Ben's daughter, Violet Anne was born in December 2005. Matt's first, Isabella, was born 6 months after the birth of Violet. And now it looks like Ben second child would come, probably 6 months after Matt's second!

According to Matt, Ben gave him parenting advise when Isabella was born. To quote Matt : "He marched into our house one day, plopped this toy down and said, 'This works.'"

Watching this vid made me go all fuzzy and warm and so happy. It's a compilation of sorts of some of their earlier interviews, the Paley forum ( don't you just love it when Jared seemed to be leaning towards Jensen all the time, Jared's hand on Jensen's knee OMG, Jared making smoochie-faces at Jensen and God, that "I can't play his brother" part never fail to floor me each time I hear it.

And *flails some more* Jensen jumping into Jared's arm while filming 'Dead in the Water' - I could watch that over and over and over again.

The vidder called it a 'Friendship Video' but I'm so totally, totally wearing my tin hat while watching it. They look so good together, and their affection for each other is so very, very obvious, from the way they look at each other, the way they talk to and of each other and it all translate well to them being Sam and Dean. Uh-huh, I've got it bad, I know, and I totally blame i_o_r_h_a_e_l, jdsmylover and bloodkisses ( in a good way,of course ) for my love for anything Supernatural!

Jensen spent Thanksgiving with Jared and his parents. And apparently Jared is now going to spend Christmas with Jensen and his family in Dallas *flailswhimperssquees*

But general squeeing aside, what exactly are the traditions in the States ( or anywhere else for that matter ) in celebrating Christmas? I thought the children would go back to their family home for the festivities? And if you're married, do you take turns to spend time with your respective families?

From jewels667 Jared told a cute story about them all being at dinner in Vancouver and Jensen saw something on Jared's cheek and reached out to wipe it off before he realized that he was sort of in a public place invading Jared's space. Jensen looked adorable and embarrassed and said he was about half way to Jared's face when he realized he probably shouldn't be doing that in public, but he was already committed to it, so he wiped it off and then they both chugged their beers to feel more manly.

phaballa has posted this little sequel to Last Stop : Chicagoland, with Jared and Jensen now living in LA. And if you haven't read Chicagoland, read it now because it's absolutely fabulous!

Written by setissma and balefully, Don't Fight With Your Pillow is, according to the authors, schmooptastic and features lots of insanity.

Jensen breaks his arm and Jared looks after him. Love ensues.

First time, hurt/comfort, Jared being a mother-hen, fumblings and uncertainties, lots of hilarious moments and LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Jared sits gingerly on the edge of Jensen's bed. "Are you delirious? Is that normal? I just left to bully someone into giving you a room," Jared says in a rush. He looks worried and maybe guilty and Jensen isn't sure when he got so good at reading Jared's face, but the guy's like a freaking book. A very large, very upset book.
"Seriously. I had Vicodin. You didn't need to." Not that Jensen isn't grateful for the opportunity to nap, but it would be much easier to sleep without Jared hovering.
"Maybe I should call someone," Jared says, and Jensen gives up and grabs his sleeve with his free hand.
"I'm fine," he says, for what feels like the five hundred and seventh time. He nudges Jared toward the magazine rack. "There's Time."
"Okay," Jared says, getting entirely the wrong idea, "do you want me to read to you?"
"Uh," Jensen says. Jesus, his costar is even more of a girl than Sam Winchester, and that's really saying something.
"There's an article on the globalization of Japan," Jared says.
At least it'll put him to sleep.

And I better stop here before I end up copying and pasting everything. *g*

Then kashmir1 hosted this 'Tin Hat Party' at her LJ here. No idea what Tin Hat Party actually is but her post is made of awesome. She has people commenting on their favourite J2 moments, whether they be pics, vids or interviews and they are full of LOVE, no manips, no touch-ups, no fics, all REAL . Most of them I already knew but omg I didn't know about this!!

They sprayed mouth freshener into each others mouths at the CW upfronts, squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Here be the video of that oh-so-sweet moment, it's about three quarter on and they were way at the back behind a crowd but they can be clearly seen doing that OMG.

And lastly, but not least, I got my Dean's ring today! It is so very pretty, all shiny and silvery and uhm, the hubby is wearing it now heheh. It fits him perfectly too ♥

This is a Jensen/Jared RPS AU, in which Jensen is a big time movie star and Jared is a regular joe at a small town in Texas. Jensen is there filming for a movie and meets Jared in a bar where Jared saves him from being beaten up by some drunken locals. They get to know each other and Jared, who initially dislikes Jensen, gradually respects Jensen and they subsequently fall in love with each other. But things are far from smooth sailing for them. Jared is straight ( until he meets Jensen that is ) and is engaged to be married while Jensen is a closet gay and has issues of his own with regard to coming out.

A beautiful story, once you start reading it you won't be able to stop. Fantastic characterizations - shy, insecure Jensen, despite being a famous movie star, with his oh-so-subtle courtship of Jared. The honourable Jared, determined not to hide his newly-found gayness but forced to do so at Jensen's insistence.

They lay in silence for a long time. Jensen half thought that Jared had fallen asleep but when he glanced over he noticed Jared's eyes were open and clear as they stared up at the night sky. Jensen got the feeling that this was the most still that Jared ever got outside of sleep and realized with a start that this was probably the first time that he could remember that he'd been able to do absolutely nothing. He sighed and felt some of the pent-up tension he'd been carrying relax from his body.
