I have these two movies - one Brazilian and the other German - and I had resigned myself to watching them without understanding a word. Then I discovered that loading the subtitles was very easy and yay, go me!

Subtitles are things of joy. :-) I turn on English subtitles even for movies and TV shows in English because my hearing is getting sketchy. Bless those subtitles and whoever invented them.

English shows with subtitles in our local lingo are pretty hair-raising, too heheh.

I know, right? Sometimes we can guess what they're saying, actions speak louder than words etc etc but it's good to know just what they're saying.
