Rating: PG-13, for the swearing
Pairing: Jared/Jensen
Summary: Jared buys a house, and Jensen makes it a home.
I love this story to bits, I couldn't stop smiling the whole time I was reading it, and I kept glancing at the scroll bar by the side, wishing that the story would go on and on. Well-written and so very convincing, her characterizations are Perfect; Jared is so Jared and Jensen is so very Jensen. A definite keeper, this is a must-read for every J2-shipper.
Purple colors the sky. The air is moist, lukewarm, and Jensen stands on the deck, his tie and jacket gone, shirtsleeves rolled up showing forearms tanned from his last trip to LA. Jared watches him for a moment from behind the glass, two Heinekens in his left hand, as Jensen's eyes follow the sinking sun.
He pushes open the sliding door, steps outside. Jensen wordlessly accepts a bottle with a small nod, taking a long sip. Jared watches his Adam's apple bob in his throat. He tips his beer up, letting the smooth taste flood his throat. And when Jensen's shoulder bumps his, he smiles, tilting his head down to rest it against the warm crown of Jensen's head.
They stand there, quietly, drinking their beer and watching the sun dip down past the horizon.
