Oh wow. That was a fantastic episode of Supernatural. It more than made up for last week's episode 'No Exit'. I never thought that I'd ever say this but SPN last week kind of sucked. There was no chemistry at all between Jo and Dean and the story itself was as flat as, as cola that has lost its fizz. The only highlight was when Dean asked "Where's Sam?" firts thing after he woke up grouchy from sleeping on the sofa. And yeah, there was nothing whatsoever between Jo and Dean. None. Zero. Nil. Unlike Sam and Dean. You can literally see the sparks flying whenever they talked to each other. Heck, to quote cyndrarae, there's so much chemistry between them that it's practically toxic!

Anyway, 'The Usual Suspects' was awesome. And Linda Blair!! Sam still had his wrist in cast. That was kind of sexy. I suppose that was the injury that Jared sustained in that bar brawl when he was protecting Jensen's virtue.

The kids will be sleeping in our room tonight. That usually happens after a particularly scary episode of SPN. For them that is. I'm usually too busy concentrating on Sam and Dean to really notice the fugly whatever *g*

You still have my favourite episode from season 2 to come (favorite episode of all, if I'm honest.) No, it's not the last ones, it's before that and it blew me away. Dean was just so..... gah, in it and I had tears my eyes for him.

I'm guessing that it's the Djinn's episode, or maybe the one when they went to prison.

But there's one episode that I'm NOT looking forward to at all - the one when Sam fell for a girl, I think it's the episode 'Heart'. 'Route 666' isn't my fave episode either, for similar reason :/

Heart isn't anything like Route 666 so don't worry about that. You'll see. I still haven't let my kids watch it yet, though (because of the hot)

I agree with your views on both The Usual Suspects and No Exit. In my house, we pretend that No Exit doesn't exist (it's the only ep I didn't download from iTunes). The Usual Suspects was my favorite ep until the second half of the season when Tall Tales and that ep happened. *points to arabia's comment*

I've seen 'em all, and the best is definitely yet to come! I loved The Usual Suspects. I think my fave from this season is Born Under A Bad Sign. Heart wasn't quite what I'd wished it to be. One of the comedy episodes works, the other doesn't. Hopefully none of the above will be constituted a spoiler. Just my opinion.

No Exit sucked, no question about it. Hated Jo, not enough Sam. Mainly because Jared was having hand surgery at the time. I don't think it was a bar brawl, but one of the producers said in an interview that Jared had done something stupid and hadn't taken care of it, then he fell on his hand during filming. Sounded like all 220 pounds of him fell on his poor hand.

What I need to know, though re: No Exit, is where Sam slept? Vital question, y'all! :)

Poor me, I have to wait for Sept. 11 to get the S2 DVDs. I even tried some downloads and it didn't work. :(

As for this Jo... (see, I read spoilers, can't stop myself) all I can think is ugh. It's gotta be ugh. Actually I thought there was zilch chemistry between Dean and Cassie, too. They just didn't seem at all like they could be together. They were too different, or too interested in different things, or whatever. Whereas I did feel that Sarah and Sam had some chemistry.

Plus anything taking time away from Dean and Sam is just annoying. Except for Papa Winchester, whom I love (and do not look forward to seeing die).

So it's not the bar brawl then? Or did he injure his wrist twice? In Jensen's version of it, I read somewhere, that apparrently they were mistaken for some other people at a bar ( and how in the world they could be mistaken for other people ) and that was how they got into that fight in the first place.

Anyway, I have my own, slashier version running in my head, about what really happened that night ;)

Oh, you have a lot of good episodes to look forward to! Let me put it this way, the worst is behind you now! :) I didn't care much for the order of some of the episodes, as I think they'd have had more impact if aired a bit differently, and there wasn't enough follow-up for the events in some episodes. But even the worst episodes certainly have some excellent scenes, lines, or moments. At the very worst you can just stare at Dean and Sam and ignore whatever it is that pains you about the episode, right? And you still have a bunch of excellent ones to look forward to!


Jared broke one wrist or hand this year, and one last year. Apparently the insurance people don't want him doing his own stunts any more. I wonder why? LOL poor baby! I think last year may have been the bar brawl.


Maybe Jo let Sam have the bed? Nah, doesn't seem likely. If there were two beds, Dean and Sam would have shared. Though maybe it would have been too much temptation, and they couldn't let Jo know, so Sam. . .went to a motel? Seriously, I wish they'd explained that. If they'd said he'd stayed up all night researching, I'd have believed it. Jo, being the shortest, really should have taken the couch! I do like your theory, though!

I have seen all of season 2, I bought the first half on dvd and the rest finished on tv just over a week a go.

The Sam and the girl episode is actually okay, you get Sam with no top on. That's not to be argued with!

The Djinn episode is glorious, I defy you to watch that without a tear in your eye. Dean just about broke my heart, I watched it so many times already and I can't wait for it to come out on dvd.
