I've watched 'Red Dragon' three times and it still managed to scare me shitless. I was watching it last night on TV, alone, at 2 am when I suddenly remembered that I haven't locked the front door yet :O And Edward Norton at that time was looking at the pics of the dead women with those pieces of glass in their eyes eeekk *goosebumps*

Edward Norton was really great as Will Graham. But then IMO he's great in everything. I really enjoyed his performance in KOH, brilliant. Ralph Fiennes was chilling as the Tooth Fairy. A far cry from his rather vapid acting in 'Maid in Manhattan'. Anthony Hopkins was flawless as the good Dr Lecter. Hee, wonder what he'd make of Kevin. Maybe they'd eat each other.

I love 'Silence of the Lamb' too but hated 'Hannibal'. The book wasn't that bad but the movie adaptation was disappointing. Jodie Foster did right when she refuse to reprise her role as Clarice. Speaking of Foster I cant wait to watch 'Flight Plan'. i hope it's good. The last aeroplane thriller 'Red Eye' was nothing to shout about :(

it had me checking all my locks and windows for days.

ditto ditto :)

But I really recommend Red Dragon the movie. That would have you checking under the beds as well *twilight zone soundtrack*

I just realised that Sean Bean is In Flight Plan. And it got an 'A' review in today's papers. Must must go see it ASAP!

Think I just go and see it also. He's prolly playin' a bad guy again, dammit.

Hmm, yeah you're right. He always seemed to get all the bad characters. Maybe because of the way he looks? Like Edward Norton, his characters are always 'sad' and 'grim'. Tom Cruise always get to be the good-guy. Gosh I'm really allergic to him. ( Sorry if you're a fan ).

I've never been a Tom Cruise fan, and the more I know about him, the less I want to know about him. Fanatics of any kind give me hives and nervous twitches. One of my favorites is Karl Urban, and he's been playing bad guys lately too, although I don't know why. He's beautiful. I'll still go see any movie Sean Bean is in, though, no matter what he plays.

I LOVE Karl Urban. In fact I love everybody from the LOTR alumni and I try to see their movies whenever I can. 'War of the World'? I watched it despite Mr Cruise, because Miranda Otto was in it. Watching Bourne Supremacy was no hardship because in additon to Karl Urban, I adore Matt Damon.

Do you know a lot of the actors in LOTR before that movie? I dont, not even Elijah and Viggo. I knew Ian Mckellen but in a vague sort of way. I've watched movies in which some of the actors acted in before LOTR but their characters didn't stick to my mind eg The Perfect Murder and Deep Impact. LoTR certainly did a lot to their careers eh.

You're right. I had some knowledge of Sean Astin, and I'd seen Ian Mckellen in the X-men movie (superb villain as he was) I'd been watching Elijah's movies all along, but seeing him as Frodo was a revelation. They were all so right for their roles. Those movies gave us a lot more than just the most magnificent movies ever made. They gave us a whole roster of actors to watch.
