lyra_wing's Paradigm Shift tickled me, a lot, because it has a Zeke in it! May be an original character, or he could be Casey's Zeke, the author didn't say.

Here's how this Zeke was described in the story.

He's in his late 20s, tall and lanky, and he seems... angry. Nathan isn't sure if that's just his default expression or if he's truly pissed off at Nathan about something. "Oh, yeah," says Andy off-handedly. "That's Zeke. Bite's worse than his bark, sorry to say." Zeke stalks forward, right into Nathan's face, crowding him. Nathan leans back a little, for some reason suddenly terrified out of his fucking mind, but it's not like he's going to back down. Zeke smells like cigarette smoke and those paper air fresheners shaped like pine trees.

I imagined him as Casey's Zeke anyhow :D

Anyway, back to the story. It's told from the POV of one Agent Nathan Baker, the newest recruit to SCID, or Supernatural Criminal Investigative Division, and it's headed by the legendary Winchester brothers. Future fic, the boys are totally legit now, complete with their own office and a staff at the FBI ( yes! Hendericksen is their boss now, how totally awesome is that! )

There are now 3 stories in these series ( all stand-alones, they're not WIPs ) plus a prequel, and apparently there'd be more coming soon. The stories are gen but SamandDean would always be SamandDean.

"What's their story?" Nathan asks, once he can't hear their voices anymore.
Andy grabs a jacket from the hooks next to the door and shrugs it on. "What do you mean?" he asks. "They're just... I mean..." Nathan doesn't even know what he's asking. "They're very..." All three of them - Ash, Andy, and Zeke - share a look that Nathan can't understand. "They're Sam and Dean," says Andy, as if that's an adequate explanation, and even Zeke nods. "If you don't get it by now, you never will."

And this :

Sarah puts a hand on Nathan's arm, leading him down the hall. "Don't take it too personally," she says. "The thing you have to understand is…" Sarah pauses, trying to find the words, "… is that Sam is the most important thing in the world to Dean. And vice versa. That's really all there is to it. As long as you understand that, you understand them."

A great read indeed!

Zeke was played by Josh Hartnett and Casey/Zeke is my OTP from 'The Faculty' fandom!
