Nah, just kidding. But one of the witches, the nice one. Doesn't she remind you of Paige, one of the sisters in Charmed? And the language that they used? Was that Latin? It really, really made me think of the Black Speech of Mordor. Fairly raised the hair at the back of my neck, listening to that *shivers*
But seriously, I love that episode. It's the first episode of this season that ( for me ) really kicked ass and did not leave me feeling -- flat. Oh there were a few things here and there that I didn't like. I hated it when Ruby came in to save the boys from the demon-witch, with the boys helplessly stuck to the wall ( again ). The witch summed it well when she said 'You really telling me you threw your chips in with Abbott and Costello here?", and that's just not right.
*is frustrated*
But other than that, there's really nothing that I actually dislike about the episode. I can't comment much about Ruby because except for a few episodes here and there, I didn'tt really watch Season 3, so I don't really know much about the demons and Sam's destiny.
One thing, more than one person have expressed their frustrations on Sam's "acceptance" of Dean's fate, that Sam has given up in trying to save Dean. But really, that wasn't my impression at all. I thought Sam was, in some way or other, trying to provoke Dean, he wanted to make Dean feel guilty. He didn't want Dean to stop him from trying to save his brother. That was my impression anyway, from the way Sam was talking to Dean in that motel room, just before Dean started to thrash in agony ( and omg how awesome was that!! ). And well, this is Sam we're talking about here. The Sam that we know does NOT give up, and certainly not where Dean is concerned. Sam giving up on Dean is a serious, serious breach of character. It's almost like having Snape as the bad guy, and no, I haven't finished that book yet so don't say anything yeah?
Love ALL of Dean-speak in this episode. And Sam driving the Impala turned my knees into jelly, that it did.
Lastly, two of my favourite SamandDean moments.
God I love those boys.
