Saw 'Water Horse' last Sunday. Cute movie. It started off really slow though, and I was beginning to regret choosing that over 'Horton'. Or 'Spiderwick'. But the pace picked up soon enough, and Crusoe was one adorable wee!monster. ( My six-yr-old called him Christo, much to my amusement )

Emily Watson was great. But you know, after watching 'Red Dragon' about half-a-dozen times, I kept thinking of her as blind, and the way her eyes seemed to be staring the way blind people do, it kind of freaked me out a little bit.

And I bought this!

dior

Your recs are now on my to-buy-list - Presciptive, MAC, Bare Essential, L'Oreal mineral powders mosaic compacts, Yves-Rocher, Maybelline PureStay. Some of the brands mentioned aren't available here though :(

We'll talk about say, perfume, next, 'kay?

:D

OOh, I love fragrances. Crabtree and Evelyn make the loveliest fragrance products.

I have lots of perfume, but almost all of them are gifts so I didn't really get to choose my own!

I like Summer Hill by Crabtree and Evelyn. White Shoulders is nice too, but maybe not young enough for you. And Obsession by Calvin Klein is very nice.

I made a post about Watson not too long ago! I thought she WAS blind after watching Red Dragon!

Nice compact, too. :D

Yes, I remember that post. Maybe she was chosen for that role because she really looked like she was blind? She looked blind in 'Water Horse' even though her character wasn't, but that was probably because I was thinking of her in 'Red Dragon'. She has this ... wide-eyed stare that's rather disconcerting.

Hmmm, I'm not actually. Not really. A friend once posted this quiz thing, on How Girly Are You, and my score was like, 2 out of 10. Haha.

I'm very much into Jensen though, so I guess that's girlish, but then so are a lot of guys! Into Jensen, I mean. Or inside.

It's absolutely lovely. A dream to apply on, it makes my face feels smooth and soft, and it also has that moistening effect which really suits my rather dry skin. I love the case, too, and it comes with a dark blue, velvet pouch. Yum!

Fragrances... I'm more of a bath and body works girl. Their spritzes are very nice and come in a variety of scents. I buy a boat load when they have their summer sale, otherwise, they're too expensive.

Do you do the body layering thing? I mean, first the shower gel, then the body lotion and lastly the body spray, all of the same scent. I love little luxuries like that, though I don't do it that often, I always seem to be in a rush!

"Water Horse" is adorable at the beginning but very, very cheesy towards the end, packed with cliches. I prefer "Horton" although it gets pretty harrowing in the middle.

Heheh, I knew who that old man from the early part of the story right from the beginning. But Crusoe is really cute, isn't he? The boy, too :D

The boy played in "Millions", the story about two boys who happened upon a bag of stolen banknotes. The twist is that those banknotes were due for destruction, since the UK was only days away from adopting the Euro. So the boys had no other choice but to make sure that they spent every quid. The boy in "Water Horse" played the younger kid, who gave lots and lots of the money away, hoping it would earn his late mother a sainthood in heaven. His big brother was more practical, and was frustrated since his age kept him from investing the money in property. :D
