Watched it last night with the kids and hubby. It's good. It lives up to expectations, what with everyone saying that it's the best installment, even better than Azkaban they say. Hmmm, I suppose in terms of action and special effects it is better than Azkaban but I dont know, I think I still love Azkaban the best. I love the cinematography better, it's more smooth-flowing in terms of its editing, and I prefer the Azkaban's director's way of doing things. And I missmissmiss Lupin. I truly love the Harry-Lupin interactions in Azkaban, so surreal, beautiful and even a little bit sad. And I'm NOT thinking in terms of slash LOL.

Some of the highlights in the movie. My highlights I should say *grins*

1. ((( Cedric))) omg he's so hot and so handsome and did I say hot? Who IS this guy anyway? What a pity that we wont be seeing him anymore after this. Though it squicked me a little bit to be squeeing over him when the hubby is right there beside me :)

2. The twins. I never really noticed them before though I like them a lot in the books. But somehow in GoF I really noticed them and I love them!!

3. The ball. Hermione coming down the stairs all beautiful and grownup. It's always been my wish that she'd end up with Harry but I guess the way things are going that's not going to be... * big, wishful sigh*

4.Snape in the classroom. He's a scream, my Snape. I wish he has more lines though.

5.The snake. Wonderfully real looking, thank God. Unlike the fake looking one in the Secret Chamber that made you go wtf. And that Death-Eater sign in the sky is really cool.

6.And last but certainly not least. That scene at the graveyard. Ralph Fiennes is GOOOOODDDDD!! When he first made his physical human appearance, coming out of the pot(?) I cant help but think of his role as the Red Dragon. Awesome. Chilling. Easily the best part of the movie.

One thing that squicked me a bit is that bathscene between Harry and Myrtle. Nothing really wrong with that it’s just it made me a wee bit uncomfortable watching it with my 2 kids who went ‘eewww’. Cant help noticing that Harry has developed a bit of a musculature too!

Would I recommend other people to watch it? Yup, very much so.

Would I watch it a second time? Probably not. On the dvd yes but not to on the big screen. Now if it’s Azkaban …
