3. 'A Supernatural Christmas' end scene.
Funnily, this is not really a favourite episode of mine. As I was telling Toni, 'Dead in the Water' is, but none of my top ten favourite scenes came from that episode, while a scene from this episode landed on my Top Three!
To me, the end scene here more than made up for the rather lack-lustre episode ( to me ). This came right after the flashback scene where young!Sam gave his brother the amulet as a Christmas gift.
I LOVE it when the camera pans directly to Dean's amulet here, a direct reference to another time, another place, another Christmas.

Ta-da! Sam looks a bit nervous whilst Dean looks on in wonderment. That Sam would do this, when earlier on Sam had said "If you want to have Christmas, knock yourself out. Just don't involve me.". It hurts me when Sam said that, though Dean's face was unreadable.
Sam : "It's Christmas!" - his face all expectant.
Dean : "What made you change your mind?"
Sam didn't answer, handed Dean an egg-nog instead.

Gift times! Dean gives Sam a skin mag and a shaving cream ( I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere about the shaving cream. Maybe Dean's teasing Sam about not having to shave as often as Dean does - hence Sam's a girl? ). Dean loves Sam's gifts to him - "Fuel for me and fuel for my baby." Classic line, that.

"Merry Christmas, bro." Lovelovelove that. I think that's the only time Dean ever calls Sam "bro".

Sam : "Hey, Dean. Should we watch the game?"
Dean : "Absolutely."

What a lovely, homey scene this is, Sam and Dean watching the games, drinking egg-nogs *MELTS* Slight Wincesty observation - Sam's arm across the back of the sofa looks ... inviting ...

With the Impala watching over her boys. Note that their room is number 12. They seem to love the number 12, our boys. They had room number 12 in 'Tall Tales' and their room in 'Jus In Belo' would be number 12, too.

Is it just me, or did Sam and Dean looked rather awkward around each other in that scene? Not the bad kind of awkward though, but the good, fumbling-we've-never-done-this kind of awkward. It's so cute the way they stole glances at each other! And just think of the effort Sam took to decorate the room while Dean went to get the beer. And the gifts - Sam wrapped his in a piece of newspaper, just the way he did years ago when he gave Dean the amulet, with Dean's a little better in brown paper. The adage that it's the thought that counts has never rung truer than it was with the boys here.
Dean's face was pure happiness, as was Sam's. And that last shot before the credit runs is pure Perfection. This scene gives me the warmest and fuzziest feeling, ever. I love it so very, very much. And
