I put in my 2-cents too. Now sure how much help it is, there are so many possible causes for both vomiting and litterbox problems. She really needs to get her to the vet.

I saw your comments there and I totally agree. My first action on seeing this behavior would be the vet. It is too bad that our pets can't TELL us what they are feeling. Lord knows my vet has all my money :) but it's worth it since I love my two little kitties and they give me much love and snuggling in return for food, shelter, and medical care.

Problem with vets over here is that they're really bad. Really. Mom's friend lost two cats just because the vets didn't notice they were having kidney failure =( She's due for a check-up, but I hardly think the vet will have any clue as to how to help us out. Just about all I can do is cross my fingers and research or ask around till I find an answer, because I'd like to believe that if I can pinpoint whatever it is to the vet he'd be able to help out.

If only I were a vet myself =S

As for taking her to the vet, I've been planning to do that. However, read my reply to Mews (above you) to know why I didn't do it before resolving to asking around online =S

I really appreciate your input, Tempest. I'm really grateful that so many of you replied. At least I now have more information than I knew of. One can never know enough about cats, and I've loved her to bits ever since we first had her four years ago =)

Oh no! Poor kitty. But I guess my mom should know better about this thing. She's dealing with the cats at home in hourly basis. :))
But, if one of them is sick or showing such symptoms, we simply give the cat amoxixylin. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Because we have no such luck with vets. Two times we brought our cats there and they ended up dead. :(

It's friendly enough for my cats. It's a kind of penicillin. So, we usually give them only half of tablet or sometimes a third. Depends on the cat's age.
Hope it works with Toffee. :))

Forgot about this. We dilute the tablet with a spoon of water. Mix them up and give it to the cat. We always need three people to feed the medicine to the cat. One holds its body, one opens its mouth, and one give the medicine from the spoon. It's very tricky like that.

Oh, that's tough. You see, we let our cats stay out because that's just the result if you let them in for so long. I can only say, has she tried taking the cats to the doctor? It might be better to do that to really find out the causes and the way out.

LMAO that's how we used to feed Toffee her ringworm meds! Though it took two of us to feed her and not three =P

Yeah, it's hard to resist cuddling her even though it pisses her off when we touch her too much (too much would be normal cuddling when it comes to other cats =P)
