I'll be watching King Kong tomorrow night, hopefully. Unfortunately we couldn't book the tickets so we just have to walk in and buy them at the counters. I hope we'll get good seats. It's one thing to sit right in front craning our necks with Frodo filling the big screen but a gorrila?

My kids wanted to go last night itself but the only show yesterday was the midnight one. No way we're coming back at 4am, school holidays or no school holidays. Tonight is out of the question. The Amazing Race finale will be shown tonight and I'm so excited about that. I'm rooting for the father and daughters team, the Bransens.

I saw the Sneak Preview of King Kong last night on HBO and they were interviewing Peter Jackson. Omg, he's so thin now! Good for him I guess, but I dont know, I think I prefer the hobbity PJ. Phillipa looked gorgeous but Peter looked like he has been sick :-(

Last night's episode of 'House' was very good. They got rid of Vogler, at last. I still cant understand how a businessman who's not a doctor can have so much power over a hospital. Yes, he brings in the money but to have so much say in the management of patients and which doctor stays or go, oh God, that really rankles me. So, House and Wilson stay and hopefully Cameron will come back too. I like her though my oh-so-slashy-self would have prefered a House/Wilson pairing heh heh.

There was a very touching scene on last night's episode when a 28-week-pregnant lady was diagnosed with lung cancer and she had to choose between her own life or her baby. She died, the baby survived, and I cried and cried. And rather to my surprise my eldest shed a tear too.

On another note, my 12-yr-old got his first 'grown-up' birthday present yesterday - a handphone. High time he got his own phone. He's always borrowing mine and whenever I got it back, I always found out that the settings had been changed.

Five more hours to The Amazing Race.

One thing I'll be waiting in King Kong. It's Thomas Kretschmann. He played in the Pianist as the german soldier. I think he plays an officer too in King Kong.

Enjoy! :)

I'm off to see Kong in a little while, hoping to be able to get in. We'll see, I may have to wait for another day, depending on the lines.

My husband just bought the dvd of the original King Kong. Hmmm, should I watch it or shouldn't I. I've watched the one with Jessica Lange in it when I was a kid and I loved it.

Well, if you're watching it tomorrow it's almost like we're watching it together at the same time :-)

I didn't even recognize PJ in a pic I saw recently. I think I like his hobbity look better too.

Hey, now I know what 'House' is. We don't get that here in Sweden, but I saw it at my brothers. I think it was a good series.

Yay! At last! Someone from my flist is a fan of House too. You know, when they first showed the trailers on Astro I thought it was a comedy, something like Scrubs maybe. I havent missed an episode so far. I love love love House, and Wilson of course. But I really really hate Volger *squeezes his neck*

I wish there's a House/Wilson slash fic somewhere *g*

Oh yes. House is really good. I think it's even better than ER or Chicago Hope. Have you seen the movie Stuart Little? I've only recently realized that House ( Hugh Laurie ) was the person who played Stuart Little's father. Such a contrast in character. Pity you dont have it in Sweden. Maybe you could ask your brother to tape it for you.

Post-call? Or was it that boring? *grins*

Well, as far as finale goes, it was quite okay. Nothing beats the usual 2-person-team though. They showed a trailer of TAR9 and someone said that that 15 seconds is even more exciting that the whole Family Edition put together.

I love it that you love books. I used to read a lot too but nowadays much of my time is taken up by fanfics. Not really complaining though because some of the fanfics are really really brilliant, not to mention addictive!. But I do miss my books - I'm lucky if I can finish one in a month. It used to be one in 3 days :-)

Oooh my, nice pecs. *drools*

He kind of looks like David Wenham, doesn't he?

Viggorli girl eh?

I used to slash them in my head before I discovered Lotrps fics. But then the first fic that I read happened to be [livejournal.com profile] abundantlyqueer's Clue followed by [livejournal.com profile] deleerium"s Football; both being Orlijahs so the rest didn't have a chance ;DD

I do read Viggorli and Domlijah though and some of them are really well written too. I dare say I would have become their shippers too if the first good fics that I came across were Viggorlis and Domlijs!

David Wenham? Oh, yes, a bit. Some sweetness. :) This one looks rather cold.
