*That* scene in 'Playthings'? I never really noticed Jared's eyes ( or the direction they were looking at to be exact ) and Jensen's ears, yes, ears, until I read this post. So of course, the moment I had some free time when I got home from work, I re-watched that scene, in slow-mo, and by God, Sam really looked at Dean, and Dean's ears ( or Jensen's, I guess ) really did turn red!

Now why would his ears turn red I wonder?

It's from season 2, episode 11 I think. It's the episode where the boys investigated a haunted hotel, the one where the owner was about to sell. The owner, Susan, has a daughter, and the daughter has this imaginary friend, who turns out to be the ghost of Susan's mother's sister. Sam was drunk in that scene, and Dean uhm, put him to bed. Heh.

That´s not ruining the squee at all :) Of course he is embarrassed, nervous and shy when he has to do the sexscene in Devour, that´s just Jensen, but WHY is he all of the above when he is doing a scene with Jared? Even if "Sam" is drunk and more "touchyfeely" then usual it´s not a normal reaction!

And about the red ears; I´m sure that he blushes all over, we just can´t se it because of all the makeup.

Oh no, you were not seeing things. The first time I watched it, it was with the rest of the family, and I was embarrased like hell, and I couldn't, err, enjoy it fully with them around. So of course I had to watch it again, and again, on my own, to see Sam grabbing Dean's face like that - priceless!!

I am really happy for your like of my post.

There are no new episode recently,so I watch the old again.And then,I found it.
I am studying animation.I have to watch one film again and again to observe every detail.I guess that is the reason why I found it. ^.^

Hey, they shot scenes likes this differently!

First one actor does his part of the scnene, confronting the camera, then the other is in fornt of the camera and the other one delivers his lines from the sideline...
And after that both front views are cut together, so it looks like they did the conversation just once...
blabla...(add instant-rubbish-talk)

Probably after Jared was finished with his lines, the two joked a bit and so Jenses skin was blushes from that, when he had to do his part of the scene.

Jensen once told (interview), that they do divide scnene a lot.
They did for example with the speech-scene, where Dean moans over Sam´s dead body.
Between two takes ( camera- perspectives) they had DINNER.
He mentioned how frustrating this was, because he had to get into this emo-mood twice.

I think his "blushing" has nothing do do with Jarted´s eyes. sorry...

I think the slash moment that hit me the hardest was in "What Might Have Been" the djinn ep. Perfectly 'normal' ep and then at the end Sam says something like: But you know... I'm glad we did.

Then Dean's husky shy gruff: Yeah, I'm glad we did too.

Oh YES!! I agree with that one. Then there's 'Provenance' ( I think ), I can't remember the exact dialogue, Dean was asking Sam why he didn't hook up with a woman and he asked whether it was because of Jess, and Sam said no, not because of her ( or something to that effect ) and Dean was like, Oh ...
