Doubt The Stars Are Fire by [livejournal.com profile] dreamlittleyo.

Summary: During Sam's senior year of high school, he and Dean got closer than they should have. A misunderstanding tore them apart, and now they have to start from scratch.

Written with the past and present deliciously intertwined - an awesome backstory telling us why Sam left Dean for Stanford, and the missing pieces written in from when Dean dragged Sam to go search for their Dad up to when Sam heard Dean's answer to Mike's You have a brother? And you'd do anything for him?

Perfect characterizations of all three Winchesters, John's obssesion with hunting, Dean's self-imposed martyrdom, Sam's teenage self-centredness - her writing is so vivid that you, I, couldn't help but believe that this was how it really happened.

The apartment was dull and quiet, which made sense if Sam was sulking in his room. He should be long back by now, but he could have taken off again. There were half a dozen haunts that Sam had dibs on, and it was early enough that most of them would still be open. Just the same, Dean braced himself as he entered the kitchen.
John was at the table, a glass of whiskey at hand and an open bottle of the good stuff beside him. It sent a new stab of worry deep into Dean's gut, and all he could think to say was, "Hey, Dad. What's wrong?" He hoped like hell his father hadn't figured him out.
There was too long a pause before an answer came, a silence that dragged out and made the hairs on the back of Dean's neck stand on end. John finally sighed heavily and tossed back the last of his drink before filling the glass right back up again.
"You're brother's gone, Dean," he said, and Dean's blood ran cold at the words.

Heeee....no no no. One is enough.

BTW, I've read the golfer!Jensen story and yes, it's a very cute story. I was grinning the whole time while reading it.
And I'm glad Jared is a good golfer as well. :))

And I've read Biggelois's 'Two Minutes'. Oh my ... *fans self* :D

Btw, I've heard that Jared doesn't play golf very well in RL, so I love to think of Jensen teaching him how to!

From this link, http://www.portraitmagazine.net/jensenackles2.html, I read that Jensen actually introduced golf to Jared. How awesome is that!
