Teen Winchesters, fics and a pic

Well, even if these boys couldn't be teen!SamandDean on the show, they'd always be my teen!SamandDean. Because even though they're alright on their own, Colin Ford especially, and yeah, I've conceeded that Brock Kelly does look like young!Jensen ( I was going through pics of young!Jensen yesterday ), they're still wrong together IMO, and they're messing with my inner chi when I'm reading teen!Chesters, gen or Wincest, especially Wincest.

So, I begged and bugged ala_tariel to make this for me!



Lovely, isn't it? Thank you, Dian, you're a STAR!!!! I'm quite unable to write you something, well, not today anyway, but I have some teen!recs for you. Which you've probably read since you read more gens than I do, but do read these if you hadn't already. They're all gems, just like you! :D

Some of my favourite teen!fics to go with the lovely pic, all gens.

Heave Away, Boy by essenceofmeanin. A Marine shows up at the Winchesters' household to recruit Dean. This story tells how John deals with it. Short but poignant, John cuts short any dream that Dean might have had, telling him that the family comes first.

Follower by eloise_bright. John training his boys. The contrast between the good little soldier and the rebel son has never been more startling here.

Late Nite at the Sudzy Dudz by se_parsons. SPN/The X-Files crossover. Scully meets the boys at a laundromat. These are her thoughts on the Winchester boys. Absolutely lovely.

Banishment by eloise_bright. Dean doesn't usually lie to his Dad. Unless it's truly necessary. Totally heart-breaking.

Under Control by eloise_bright. John tells Dean to watch out for Sammy. And that has been Dean's mantra since forever, even when it is at his own cost.

These are Wincest, and I cannot not rec these two, I love them so much! Rating R, light Wincest.

The Promise by gillianinoz. Sam and Dean are kidnapped and confined in a cell to die. This is their story on how they survive the most horrific time of their young lives. Gillian writes the most wonderful of stories and this is among her best!

Burn this city down to show you the light by lyra_wing. Supernatural AU, written to the movie 'The Outsiders'. Teenage Winchesters born on the wrong side of the track, it's them dealing with the rich kids of the town. Riveting from start to finish.

Oh hon, that's them - in my head too. Brock may look a little bit like Jensen but his mouth is all wrong and I just can't get past that.

They probably made Brock look like that because that was how Jensen looked like in some of his earlier pics. But I do so want young Dean to look like Alec, or Eric Brady!

Oh I wish you'd read the gens now, and not only the ones above. They could be really wonderful without the sex to distract from the main plotline. Not that I'm dissing wincest of course, I'm still neck-deep in them!!

Oh I just don't know. I've read some gen and to be honest, I just couldn't connect to them. I didn't feel they added anything that I couldn't get from watching the episodes. It could have been that I just read the wrong ones....

Uh, that banner is so YES! And it struck me how much that pic of Jared in the deer shirt looks like Colin or Colin looks like Jared, it's pretty amazing actually.

BTW, I've read "Late Nite at the Sudzy Dudz" and it's awesome. Nothing like a teenage, snarky Sammy and Dean and clueless Mulder. LOL!

And of course Dean hit on Scully, she's hot. My husband has had quite a thing for Gillian Anderson ever since her XF days and couldn't wait for the new movie. I thought he was going to hyperventilate and keel over when he saw her new longer hair. LOL!

Oh Scully's hot alright!! Did you see that movie, can't quite remember what the title was, I think it's called 'Affairs of the Heart' or something, Gillian was in it, along with Angeline Jolie and a few others. I love that movie.

It's Playing by Heart (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145734/)! Wonderful movie with a stellar cast. And of course, Gillian Anderson!

The X-Files movie - while the movie per se is just so-so, there's a revealation there on Mulder and Scully that made me squeed out long and hard!
