Saw Slumdog Millionaire last week and Wolverine yesterday.

And I'm thinking, Sam and Dean wouldn't have any new lines to say come the finale since Salim & Jamal and Victor & Logan seemed to have said them all - I love you, I hate you, I've got your back, You left, How could you? *g*

I kind of felt cheated that Dom was there for like, 5 minutes? And I was looking forward to see him again on the big screen too :(

Not only was he only on for like 5 minutes, his powers weren't even badass! Poor guy!

My mom and I tried to watch Slumdog Millionaire, and we gave up before it was over. For one thing, the subtitles/closed captioning was almost impossible to read. For another, we weren't expecting that level of violence and torture. The people I'd heard from who had seen it, and the couple of reviewers, seemed to leave out the more extreme elements. About 45-60 minutes in, Mom wanted a bathroom break. I told her I wasn't really enjoying the movie (to put it mildly) and she agreed she wasn't getting anything out of it either.

I had wanted to see Wolverine, but it's gotten pretty bad reviews so far, and I'm not a huge X-Men fan, so I'll probably wait till it comes out on DVD. But I am looking forward to the latest incarnation of Star Trek! (No brothers in that, as far as I know!)

Yes, the torture scenes are bad. Did you get to the part where they poured acid into that child's eyes? It's horrifying to think that those sort of things are really happening *shudders*

So much movies to look forward to this month - Star Trek, Transformers, Terminator ... I'm esp looking forward to Transformers because I've just watched the first one on DVD yesterday and I thought it awesome. I wish I saw it on the big screen!

That acid scene is where I quit watching. I just couldn't take it. The thought that something like that is based on reality, not just fiction, is horrifying. I didn't stay with it long enough to see what the purpose was, except I guess to make the kids more dependent on him, or more pathetic as beggars? Or more appealing in some warped way, as prostitutes? Whatever the reason, I just couldn't deal.

oOo...Yea I saw Slumdog and Wolverine, too. Hm, I started watching Numb3rs, too, but it just isn't the same thing. I mean the brotherly chemistry between Sam and Dean is just so amazing...haha, that's my inner fangirl squealing XD

Numb3rs and Prison Break. I watched a few episodes of each but never really catch on, despite of Wentworth Miller being hotter than hot. Yes, there's just something about Sam and Dean!!!

omgsh, guhhhhhhh....this season is killing me! I want more brother-brother stuff!!! I love their interactions and everything ^_^ They just click, and it's awesome that their friends offscreen, too. My inner fangirl is screaming. I love these two!!
