I enjoyed that too. Perfect h/c for me is the caring showing through the layers of gruffness and sibling teasing. It's so perfectly in character.

The author said that it has more of a S1-2 feel to it but after that last episode, I feel good about them, about SamandDean, more than I've ever had for quite some time. So yeah, that was post 5.13 for me :)

Hee hee, Dean yowling and chanting and barking to the music, just to annoy Sam, that's just so Dean lol.

Hey Jude is definitely one of my favourite Beatles' songs. I'd sing it for my little one too, if I could actually hold a note. :)

But that fic was wonderful. I love that the song triggered a faraway memory in Sam, too. I'm pretty sure that when Sam was a baby, Mary would sing the song to lull him to sleep, but Dean would jump in singing the 'naaaaanananana' part at the top of his voice because it's his favourite song too, and keeping baby Sammy up, but Mary wouldn't get upset or annoyed because Sammy would be cooing along.

I've got that song on my thumb-drive, and I hear it everyday on my way to and back from work. I was thinking of deleting it from my playlist but then 5.13 came and I would NEVER delete that song now.

And omg, thank you for putting that ADORABLE picture into my head, wee Dean na-na-ing at the top of his voice with baby Sam gurgling at his big brother's awesome singing!! *LOVES*
