And Percy wins.
Apr. 20th, 2010 04:47 pmI watched Clash of the Titans yesterday. In 3D. I don't know whether it was because of the 3D thing, the glasses bothered me a lot for one thing, but I didn't really enjoy it much. I thought it was a bit slow-moving especially the first half, I was like, urging the story to move. Sam Worthington was a bit of a disappointment for me. I loved him in Terminator Salvation but not in this. I thought he had one and only one expression throughout the movie :(
I found myself comparing this Perseus to Percy Jackson, and I think I prefer the other Percy. Speaking of that Percy, how come he was the son of Poseidon while this Perseus was Zeus's son? I haven't read The Lightning Thief. Did the author play around with the mythology or something?
I probably would have enjoyed the 2D version more. And also, I think I'm going to restrict my 3D experience just to the animated films from now on. Watching that wasn't very pleasant for me.
