layne67I was nervous when Julie said they were going to talk to Brandon's ex-fiancee, wondering what bad things she was going to say about him. But to my surprise, what she said wasn't bad at all! Oh she said Brandon was dramatic and emotional and that was the reason why she broke up with him but being dramatic and emotional is not necessarily a bad thing. It actually explained why he was attracted to Rachel in the first place because I did wonder about that. There was Brandon whom I thought was the silent, brooding type and there was Rachel who was loud and a drama queen and aside from their physicist/chemist background, I thought they didn't have anything in common at all!
But I'm glad they found each other because I'm so shipping them right now. I hope the hints that Julie gave about Rachel not seeing the last of the Big Brother house, and what the saboteur said, will come true. It'd be an excellent twist to have Rachel back!
And I love what the ex said about Rachel *nods nods*
As for the others, I can summed up what they feel about those two in one word - Envy. Though to be fair, I supposed I'd hate Brandon and Rachel too if I were one of the house-guests. As it is, I love them and I hope Brandon will win all the HoHs and PoVs! ( not much hope there but hopefully his need to revenge Rachel will spur him on )
And I hope The Amazing Race will take them on the way they took Jeff and Jordan last season. I was not impressed at all with Jeff and Jordan's TAR run, I thought they were quite awful, but I think Brandon and Rachel will do very well. They have the brains and the brawns ( and the drama ) to make a very good TAR team!
