Oct. 30th, 2010 12:59 pmWatched BBC's Sherlock last night. Huh. So, that's why so many people are slashing them! Or is that Sherlock Holmes the movie?
Anyway, I really enjoyed that. I thought it was stylish and pretty, a bit bizarre ( a lot! ) but in a VERY good way. Totally not what I was expecting lol. I went all round-eyed when Watson opened his laptop. Laptop!!
Sherlock made me think of young Sam Winchester a bit, all floppy hair and lanky and the slanted eyes, the dimples! And Watson being shorter, and the short hair of course made me think of Dean. But then, when did things not remind me of SPN lol.
Love the last part a lot, Sherlock with the blankets and his "I'm in shock!". I'm totally going to watch the next two parts. But ... only three parts? :(
And also - Martin Freeman! That was the first time I saw him, have heard so much about him the past one week and yay, he's going to be The Hobbit!
I'll be watching two episodes of SPN back-to-back tonight. Yup, still didn't watch last week's. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to watch two episodes at one go. Double the heartbreak/frustration maybe? Or maybe ... double the joy? Maybe I should watch Merlin or House in between ... or Sherlock of course!
And speaking of SPN, there was this pull-out from our local papers waxing lyricals on SPN yay! Online version here, and it's mainly about season 5.

Date: 2010-10-30 12:44 pm (UTC)I love both of them for the moment. Sherlock is so INTENSE omg! But how I wish my downloaded eps came with captions. A lot of the time I found it quite hard to understand what they were saying!

Date: 2010-11-11 02:28 am (UTC)Some British shows, I can understand them perfectly, Merlin for instance, but for some, I've a hard time making out what they're saying. I guess it's the accent thing?
It's easier to understand American accent!

Date: 2010-11-15 02:36 am (UTC)They had been to the South/North Korean border once, but that was because one team got lost and they went all the way up to the border. I bet the sight of the armed soldiers and the army tanks freaked the crew as much as the team!
