I liked that! It was fun and cute and good and that's probably the first time that I actually didn't mind Sam being the way he is.

And the intro! I was just telling hubby that felt more like *inserts Favourite TV Show EVER* when Favourite TV Show Ever did came up on screen. Did I squee? You bet lol.

I didn't expect that, like, at all. From the excitement in certain quarters of my flist, I was expecting to scream that loud in 610 ( yes, [livejournal.com profile] lassiterfics, I'm still hoping! ) but oh, I really, really, enjoyed that!

And for the umpteenth time, I wishwishwish that Jensen will do comedy next. He's freaking brilliant.

A tiny question. What's with the Chrysler thingie that appeared on screen for a few seconds? Was that an ad? Or an allusion to Castiel? Since Misha didn't make an appearance despite being credited. And yes, that was a a bit of a letdown, that. At one time I thought Dean saw him in his true form, you know, The Light :D

And oh, the leprechaun saying that Dean was theirs, my mind immediately went to [livejournal.com profile] leonidaslion's Fae!verse. Which you should read if you hadn't already.

Going to the cinema to watch Harry Potter now!

I enjoyed this one a lot. It's disconcerting to be pissed off at Sam one second, and laughing over a mean-spirited comment from him the next. I knew from a spoiler about the Certain Show, and it didn't disappoint!

Yes, Jensen should do a comedy next! I'd love to see Jared in a romantic comedy.

I think Misha's name was in the credits because he's a regular this season.

Have a great time at the Harry Potter movie! I won't be seeing it till Wednesday, but that gives me a little more time to watch the sixth movie first. I've had it on DVD for about a year now and haven't watched it yet...bad fan!

Sam made me feel all achy and frustrated this season, but I liked him in that episode. Kudos to the Edlund!

Heheh, I'm glad that I didn't know anything about that X-File throwback, it was a VERY pleasant surprise indeed.

They didn't always put Misha's name in the line-up prior to this episode ( for this season I mean ), it was there only when he appeared, like they did with Katie Cassidy and Lauren Cohen. I kept expecting him to show up to save his humans lol.

You've read all the HP books, right? So you'll know what to expect, though it had been quite sometime since I last read Deathly Hallows, so there were quite a number of surprises for me. Good ones!

Yes, I liked Snarky!Sam more than I usually do. I watched the first minute or so and the opening credits, because at least three different entertainment web sites had it available!

Hm, I hadn't really noticed that about Misha not being in the credits. I thought he always was this season, but then, I'm not that observant about the credits because there's usually distractingly pretty boys to look at!

Yep, I've read all the HP books, and just finished The Half-Blood Prince. I was a bit disappointed the name wasn't fully explained in the movie, but I thought they did a great job with the movie, as usual. Can't wait to see it Wednesday! All the reviews I've read have been very positive, so I'm glad to see you liked, it too. The last time I read Deathly Hallows was when it first came out...three years or so ago? I'm glad they've done it in two parts instead of trying to cram it all into one movie, but I'm not happy about having to wait 7-8 months to see the rest. I'm really glad they were able to keep all the same actors for the trio. It would have broken my heart if they'd had to re-cast, and I think they still pretty much look the right age for the movies.

The movie wouldn't have been the same at all if they used other actors/actresses!

My other concern was that they might make the movies so far apart the kids would be in their mid-20s playing teenagers, but luckily TPTB had sense enough to make the movies at a pretty good pace, without the actors having to totally give up all their time doing movies. 7 - techinically 8 - movies in 10 years, for one franchise, is lightning speed, in Hollywood.

I LOVED IT! The intro was squee-worthy. *nods* And I pretty much fell in love with Dean being somewhat unDean-like. It's about time we got a bit of a laugh, huh?

... Soulless Sam with no conscious... Hmmm... Like I said, it was good to have a laugh at his expense too. :)

Heheh, Dean's definitely Scully :DD

I was clutching at my hubby practically the whole time, laughing hysterically, but especially when Dean was being extra funny.

And yeah, Jared did well as soulless Sam there, when they were interviewing the woman and all, he was good in that episode!

Bunian, Kak Lin! :D

I'm still waiting for them to do pontianak. Strictly banshee-type thingy. Not ~vampires~. ;)

Bunian was EXACTLY what I said to hubby when the leprechaun was talking about UFOs in different cultures!

And yeah, pontianak with red-eyes and flowing long hair, flitting from tree to tree, haha, I'd love to see Dean hitting on Maya Karin!

Some of their humorous shows have fallen flat, as far as I'm concerned, but this one worked so well. Sam was funny and Dean was great. They're both really good at comedy. All the little X-Files tributes were wonderful.

Kim Manners would have approved of this episode!

And Ben Edlund did really well with the writing of this episode. I saw his name and I did a mental fist-pump, his eps had never disappointed me and this one was so much fun!

I second the comment above for a pontianak as a MOTW on SPN. Actually if they do any monster somewhere from the old country, I'd scream with joy.

What did you scream at ?! :D

Haha, that was an ad for Chrysler cars. Which were being envesseled by Castiel!

What did you scream at ?!

The minute the intro montage appeared of course!

A pontianak in the show would be all kind of awesome!! Heheh, I laughed out loud at the Chrsyler ad. Are they, like, official sponsor for the show now? :DD

And I was so hoping that Castiel would save his boy!

Which Chrysler?

Love this episode! Hee. Sam asked Dean if he serviced Oberon. Uh-oh. :P

It appeared at minute 40, when Dean was in that lock-up talking to the sheriff.

That episode was hilarious!

It's advertising. Chrysler is one of their sponsors. I really dislike advertising blocking the screen of the show I'm trying to watch. Unfortunately, it's become common on American TV.

Aahh, hence that mention of Cas being as big as a Chrysler building lol. Someone on my flist who's a fan of Cas drew wings and a trench-coat around that logo :DD

I'm still chuckling over that episode. :-) I think it will be one of my top ten faves.

Did you like HP?

Ben Edlund did well there!

I love the first three books very much but it kinda went downhill for me after that. As for the movies, The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite, I really love that one. Deathly Hallows is quite good, not as good as Azkaban but better than the rest!

It's my favorite ep this season, and it was sooooo funny. Omg, Dean and Tinkerbell, lol. And I love that Dean is Jiminy Cricket for Pinnochio Sam. :)

I thought the script was great with plenty of wonderful lines for both Jared and Jensen. Ben Edlund should be paid to write for the whole season!!
