My heart sped up a bit when I saw this fic byzoemathemata came up. I love her Big Bang last year which was totally creepy and clever and engaging and you should totally read that if you hadn't already.
Folie a Deux is twisty and subtly scary, its undertone of sinisterness is not the in-your-face kind of sinister but more of the type that's ... subliminal with you not knowing who is who and what is what, making you want to read and read. And read. And her original character here is as awesome as the ones in her Cross Creek!
