layne67Finally got to watch TAR18 finale last night and lolol I don't think I've ever laughed so much in any of the season finales before. I completely cracked up especially during the first half of the show and what a fine, feel-good finale that was. But then, all of TAR episodes gave me that feel-good upper!
Poor Zev and Justin. It certainly wasn't their day, was it? But while I felt sorry for them, I couldn't help but laugh and laugh and laugh at Zev's ( or was it Justin? ) attempt at doing the samba. And the waxing omg. I cringed and I laughed and I winced and I laughed. Though I have to say by the time they went to the beach trying to sell the bikinis ( totally made me think of ice and Eskimos ) and later on when they were mixing the drinks, I couldn't really laugh anymore as they looked so despondent *hugs them*
Big Easy and Jen ( or was it Kisha? ) totally surprised me with their samba moves. They were awesome, as was Mallory. And Mallory's bubbly excitement was really cute. Pity about their taxi driver. Come to think of it, taxi drivers are what make or break them in the finales. I'm thinking that they should come up with a finale that doesn't require taxi drivers for once. Pure bad luck that, because there's no way you can know whether the taxi drivers are good or not.
TAR Australia has started. I'm hoping to find the episodes on the internet but so far no luck yet. It'll tide me over until the next season of TAR. Haven't heard anything of TAR:Asia yet but I hope they're continuing with it!
Survivor. You know what would be the perfect twist to it? To have the Redemption Island castaways go against the Murolinos. Hahah, I can just imagine what Rob's expression would be like lol. Yeah, not much of a fan here. I feel very much like Dave when he wrote Rob Rob Rob Rob on his voting paper. Totally rooting for Mike and I hope he'll be the one who stays. Last night episode I was hoping that Natalie would be the one to go. Ugh, I can't stand people who are double-faced like that. Not much of a fan of Ashley either but I'm thinking she's going to be so heart-broken when she finds out.
Finale this Monday. With eight of them still around, I wonder very much how they're going to do it. Still hoping for a Redemption Island vs Murolino ( read Rob ) showdown!

Date: 2011-05-13 09:24 am (UTC)Gary and Mallory are totally my favouritest TAR team ever. Mallory is just the cutest little thing and so bubbly and happy, and Gary is the cool, level headed guy, and they're both awesome.
I think the final four teams have all more or less kicked ass all season. Although the sisters are the ones who won the million, the other three had won multiple legs each, so they all won, to me. :)

And I thought it so sweet when Jen called her older sister "baby girl". Usually it's the other way round!
