His face omg.

The reverant way he was holding on to that trench coat. The second coat that he had to put away within just a couple of years ( less? ), though for the life of me, I still don't get why he's no longer wearing John's leather jacket.

And it broke my heart, what's left of it, again, when Bobby asked him whether he was alright and he said "Who cares?" Oh Dean, Castiel had been resurrected before, who knows, maybe Chuck would make a comeback bringing Cas back with him. It's Supernatural, anything can happen.

Secret wish : To see Dean wearing that trench coat.

I enjoyed 703 too and it was a lovely surprise seeing Colin Ford again. That boy has grown and I love seeing him reprise his role as young Sam, love seeing young Sam again, bangs and all. Lol that boy sure has adult!Sam's mannerism down pat! *loves*

So yeah, surprise surprise, I found myself enjoying the last two episodes of SPN despite the heartbreak that was Castiel, and I hope they'll have Colin Ford back again ( but not Brock Kelly please, sorry just not a fan, if they want to have teen!Dean in the story, I want them to just CGI Jensen into one! ).

Jensen said there was a lengthy seen in the cabin (while Dean's leg was healing) in which some time was devoted to him dealing with Cas' demise. Unfortunately, it was edited out in post. I got the feeling Jensen wasn't exactly pleased with the way the ep was edited since he didn't really have a say in the final. Maybe we'll get to see that in the DVD extras later on, yeah? I hope so.

Wasn't Colin Ford wonderful? I can't get over how very Sam Winchester he is!

btw, you know that the leather jacket was stolen from wardrobe, yeah? Jensen said they've tried to replace it but when he has tried each of them on, there's just something not right about them.

That scene killed me! It was the epitome of Dean's story on this show. They always look for support from him and none of them cares about him in the end (Cas cared but he's not here now). It was so painful to watch!

No one, but NO ONE, does angst as well as Jensen. He breaks my heart.

The leather jacket got stolen. For real. It was stolen from the set.

Perhaps it was Sera Gamble herself who vetoed out that scene. Btw, Ben Edlund wrote that episode, didn't he? Lol I believe he's a Dean/Cas shipper. Wasn't it him who said that Dean and Cas's relationship was like a long distance marriage?

Colin Ford was awesome! His Sam expressions were amazing though I'm glad he was quite subtle with them.

No, I didn't know that jacket was stolen. Haha, I bet it's now with some fangirl somewhere :)

I know, right? And now I can't get that out my mind, what he said and the way he said it. Who cares???

But I'm glad Ben Edlund wrote that part in, that he had Bobby asking Dean that, in a way acknowledging what Cas had been to Dean, and the kinda "goodbye" scene of Dean with the trench coat.

Btw, I know you don't read Dean/Cas slash but this (http://murron.livejournal.com/165038.html) is truly a sweet, happy-making fic, and can be read as gen. The slash part came at the end of it and you can totally skip that.

Munibunny above he said they edited out a whole scene of Dean remembering Cas. Guh, I wonder how he did that scene and I'm really, really hoping that we'll get to see that in the DVD!

I didn't know that. Wow. Stolen by a fan maybe?

But where's the jacket now, canonically I mean? In storage somewhere?

I'd heard that as well (and that the leather jacket was stolen.) I have to agree, I really want to see that scene - even if it's just for Jensen sitting on that sofa in his socks!

I love him in his socks.

Some lucky fangirl. If it were me, I'd be breathing in that leather every chance I'd get... not that I condone the pilfering of such a precious artifact, mind you...

As far as I know, there haven't been any suggestions that it was a fan. And they never dealt with it in canon...the jacket just sorta...disappeared. I read that they keep having Jensen try on jackets but none of them are right.

I wish they'd left that scene in the ep! Here's the quote from Jensen...

There was a lot they did post-production that I wasn’t aware of – I had my cut but then network and studio has it, and they took stuff out and I was like, awww, they took that out? There was a whole montage of me in the cabin with the broken leg just downing beers and swordfighting with my crutch, and they cut that out for time.

I hope they'll have Colin Ford back again, too... he was great as young Sam. And I agree about Brock Kelly.

I loved 7.02 so much, and 7.03 was a really good ep, too.

I'm enjoying season 7 so far, much more than I did the previous season :)
