For those who celebrate : HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!


Any of you here born in the Year of the Dragon?

Some of my favourite dragons. Can you name them?

Voiced by one of the greatest actors around, I cannot not see the actor in my head when he spoke.


A dragon with a very sexy voice. Not the voice I imagined when reading the book and it took some getting use to, but it worked after a while.


Who would have thought I'd cry watching a movie with a dragon that looked like this?


A certain 12th century wizard's pet dragon. Or is it the other way round?


A twerp as far as dragon goes but adorable and faithful, a guardian spirit that delivers.


I can already hear, clearly, *that* voice bringing *this* red dragon to life - "“My armor is like tenfold shields. My teeth are like swords. My claws, spears. The shock of my tail, a thunderbolt. My wings, a hurricane. And my breath, death.” - and Layne promptly faints.


THIS. The scene that got me hooked to the show, totally, fully, wholly and completely.


Not a dragon per se, but a chilling movie with an awesome performance by one of my favourite actors, Edward Norton.

Daenerys *le sigh* I can't wait for when the "Dance of the Dragons" will be filmed.

I love dragons. Huh, I started writing an H50 fic with Steve McGarrett (seriously, why aren't you watching this show yet? ;) as a dragon a few months ago and abandoned it. Maybe I should get back to it, seeing as this is the Year of the Dragon? O.O

I've just started on book 3 but I'm already on the lookout for Dance of the dragons at the bookstore. Couldn't find it yet :/

Btw, do you know that Kit Harrington said, with the exception of Dragons, he had finished reading all the books? I'm thinking/hoping that he had been asked to read them all and that gave me hope that his character wouldn't be killed off early.

BC as Smaug! Can't wait. He and MF must be getting sick of each other. lol.

I did a papier-mâché Smaug back in the 70's for a school thing. It had red felt wings and flew from two coat hangers. I've always had a thing for dragons. :)
