SPN 7x17:

He kept it omg he kept It. ( I always knew that he would. )

Scruffy!Sam looked good. And I thought Jared did well there.

...

Saw Hunger Games over the weekend. Hubby asked whether it was any better than Twilight. As far as the books were concerned, I couldn't say since I've read neither, but movie-wise, the Hunger Games wins, hands down. For one thing, I think Kat is a lot more likeable than the sullen Bela, and for another - no sparkly vampires in this.

I did feel queasy about the overall ... sadism of the story, and that's coming from someone who didn't blink an eye at watching Spartacus. But as a whole I liked it. See? I have three fingers up and one hand raised :D

Loved SPN 7x17!

I want to see the Hunger Games. I loved the books. I had a ticket on Friday and couldn't go due to last minute stuff that came up, and I have a ticket for Tuesday, but I'm not sure I can make it then either. I guess I should wait till a day I know for sure I can go, then buy the ticket online. I'm trying to avoid standing in a line. If nothing else I can wait for the DVD, but this is definitely one of those movies that benefits from the big screen.

Are you talking about the amulet???? I haven't seen the episode for obvious reasons but I have to know if you're talking about the amulet.

It was my 15-yr-old who wanted to see it, we just went along. And I'm glad that we did!

This probably wouldn't be a cause for squee to you, but I ship them, so yeah, I definitely squeed there. It was Cas's trench coat, Dean kept it, and I was like, ... awwww ... He gave it back to Cas and there was A Moment there. Hee!

There was actually another episode we saw it in I thought and I can't remember which one it was in. It was either hidden in the back of the car or sitting off to the side in that cabin they had been staying in. Or I could be on crack and imagining things. :)

Damn I was hoping Sam had kept the amulet!

Omg really? I didn't notice that. Do, do tell if you remember which episode that was!

Another thing that I'd really like to see is that leather jacket. Dang. The way I see it they really want John out of the picture, even his jacket :/

Maybe it's a symbolic thing. Dean's shedding some of living under his dad's shadow and becoming more himself.

Yes, that's probably it, but I do want to see John Winchester one more time, see him with Dean especially. Younger or older John, though I prefer JDM.

That's what I figure. I can't really take the bus yet, so I may have to just wait till it comes out on DVD. The taxis here are quite expensive, and it would probably cost at least $25 to get there and back. But so far everyone who's seen it, that I've read about, has loved it.
