I'm so looking forward to the first episode of 'House', second season, tonight. I love that show. I still love it even after [livejournal.com profile] surgicalsteel said that in reality, they dont actually have specific diagnostic teams in hospitals in the US. I've wondered about that for quite some time because we don't have such teams here. And she also clarified that in RL, House's doctors could be sued for breaking and entering their patients' homes. And the doctors almost never do the lab tests themselves, unlike Cameron who in nearly every episode can be seen bending over the centrifuging machine (?), with those cute glasses perched over her nose.

But despite all those "inaccuracies", House is still one of my favourite TV shows.

I miss House and his sarcastic remarks. Gosh, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing when in the last episode of the previous season he said this out loud to Cuddy "No I do NOT want to have sex with you," right there in front of the patients. And Cuddy, bless her, took it all in her stride.

I miss Cameron, Chase and Foreman get "bullied" by House. I miss them investigating and solving cases involving rare diseases. Never a dull moment with House ( Holmes? ) thinking out the probable diagnoses with Wilson ( Watson? ) by his side.

Oh yes, most of all, I miss Wilson and seeing him gaze soulfully and longingly at House. I love all the slashy inuendoes between those two!

I'm also looking forward to having Stacy back working at the hospital. Stacy, Cameron and Cuddy - the three women in House's life. Sort of. They kind of look alike, these three women. Well, at least in their colourings.

Yep, Monday nights would definitely be a tad more interesting with House in the picture!

I think season 3 is coming soon for you whereas I'm still at season 2.

Heh, if House is your doctor he'd soon find the cause of your low count.

Hope you're feeling better now Julia. Allergic reactions are scary stuff.

Ever noticed it's pretty much the same plot each week?

But so was Scoobie Doo and I watched that for years!

Formulaic, you mean? One major case, one minor case, some sleuthings done at the patients' houses, initial wrong diagnosis, bad reaction to drugs -- yep, pretty much the same every week. But House's quotes more than make up for that :-)

Last night's was good. Oh boy, House is still pretty much in love with his first wife ( and Wilson is still pretty much in love with him ), Cameron is lovelier than ever, Chase is his usual tight-arsed self and Foreman is the same by-the-book Foreman.

My favourite episode is the one from Season One when one pregnant lady was diagnosed with lung cancer and the husband had to choose between wife and baby. The wife chose to die so that the baby could live. Oh dear, I feel like crying now, that scene when the husband was kissing his dead wife with the baby crying in the background. It's dramas like this that make lovelovelove House ( other than the House/Wilson angle of course )

Heh heh, sorry, long ramble there.

I don't know anything about House TV show, since I don't think it arrived in Italy, yet.

But I simply wanted to say "Hello" to one of my dearest friend!

*waves and hugs you!*

We have this show in Germany too and I also looked forward to watch it. But since my husband rules the TV in our family, with the remote control in his hand, just as a sceptre of his power and he doesn't like any hospital shows, I won't get to watch it. (Well, that's not true. I saw a half episode!!!) But I would surely like it if I could ever watch it! :)

My husband and my two older boys rule the TV only during the football season. No football, I can watch whatever I like! :-)
