The Two Huck Finns

layne67I've only just found out that Josh Hartnett once played Huck Finn in a school play. Then I came across these when I was gooling for his pics. Yeah I did that a lot lately ;)
Does anyone know whether these pics were him playing Huck Finn in that school play?
And of course, I just adore my other Huck Finn here.
I wonder, did they ever discuss about both of them playing that same role during filming of The Faculty?
And wouldn't it be wonderful if Elijah could be Huck Finn to Josh's Tom Sawyer, both of them all grown-up, in a grown-up version of the story?
Just a thought.

I love Tom Sawyer and I love Huck Finn. (Well, I love Mark Twain, duh.) Haven't seen Elijah in that because he seems so WRONG for Huck Finn - too tiny and young and cute. Those pics above definitely look like Josh and he would be fine as Huck.

Date: 2006-10-20 04:30 am (UTC)I don't know if I'd want to read a Huck/Tom slash fic though. I don't know, but it sounds rather wrong somehow. Anyway, I couldn't find any Huck/Tom slash fics on the net and I thought that just about any male pairings in literature have all been slashed.
I haven't seen Elijah's Huck Finn either. Can't find the dvd anywhere here. But from what I gather from those who've seen it, Elijah was pretty good as Huck!
Yeah, Josh were in those pics. But they only came with the text saying 'Young Josh Hartnett'. Didn't say what he was doing there. But I think it must have been the school play. Josh looked very much like Huck there.
