Ooooh, that's true, the Komondor looks a bit like a puli. That's from the cover of Beck's album Odelay. I thought it was some weird mop thing until my sister told me what it was!

A Komondor is considerably larger than a Puli, so it's not difficult to tell them apart. Imagine the looks you'd get walking that pair down the street :))

Remember in the Day in the Life thing on the S1 dvd... Jensen said he had to maintain that stubble... because, yeah, without it, he still looks like he's in his early 20's. I love candid photos of him because he has that little mischievous twinkle in his eye that makes him seem so sweet.Gotta hand it to him that he can hide that sweetness so well when he's Dean Winchester. :D

Yes, it's a Puli but I only learnt of its existence yesterday, along with that Komondor ( see lbilover's comment above ). I'm assuming that a basenji has the same dreadlocks, too?

Actually, no. A basenji is an African short hair dog but it has a unique vocal quality; it doesn't bark. It does however make all sorts of other vocalizations.

Both breeds though are good for people with allergies (which I have). The basenjis shed very little and pulis don't shed at all because of their cording.

Actually, from what I understand, they don't take a whole lot of grooming, at least as far as combing or brushing. It's because that hair is all in dreadlocks, so it can't be combed out. (I call 'em Rasta Dogs.)

Those puppies are incredible, aren't they? I once saw one being walked around in the streets, he was such a surreal creature, something like a carpet or a curtain walking!!
