It's cold tonight, 22C ( 72F ). What? I'm in the tropics here. For us that's freezing.

*tucks blanket around shoulders*

Wish I have a Padalecki Blanket *nods at [livejournal.com profile] onci_dium*

Anyway, I saw 'Die Hard 4' just now. Not bad. Though not as good as the first one of course. But yeah, I enjoyed it. Even if it was unbelievable in the way the hero just would not die no matter how many times he was shot at, sometimes at point-blank even. Like from a fighter-jet not 6 feet away. But then that's Hollywood for you. I'm quite fond of John McClane. So.

The guy who played Matt Farrel was really good. And Maggie Q was pretty awesome. Unfortunately, Timothy Olyphant as The Villain was nothing to shout about. Certainly not on par with Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons. I mean, Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons. Heh.

Overall, it's quite an enjoyable movie. Though I have a feeling that would be the last time we see John McClane saying "Yippikaye". But then, you never know. There is another Indiana Jones coming up after all ( with Cate Blanchett omg )

No Die Hard movie could ever surpass the original! What a fun movie. And yes, Alan Rickman. You betcha.

Oh you've seen it, too!

The first 'Die Hard' to me is one of the movies that I'd never tire of watching over and over again. Alan Rickman was deliciously evil there!

I give you the F.B.I ...

You know, I still have never seen the original! Does Alan Rickman play the villain in it? I sure could appreciate that. I saw the third one several times and Jeremy Irons was dead sexy in it.

You've just got to see the first one, Sophi! It's a classic and yes, Alan Rickman was the villain in it. He was beyond awesome. Jeremy Irons was his brother.

And you'll get to see McClane with more hair, too :DD

Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons... Sexiest baddies ever.

Sexiest and smoothest and oh so very very British!!!! Even when they were actually Germans in the movies heheh but there's just something about English men and their accents heheh ;)

I'd turn into a block of Layne-ice at 7C.

You can have the 22C but be prepared for the 40C at mid-day! :DD

I must be a tropic plant too since I shiver at these temperatures as well. And we have way colder days and most of all nights here!

I played with the thought to watch "Die Hard" for a time, but then I think they will show it once at Christmas in TV and I wait a while.
So you think it's not realistic that someone doesn't die after only 26 (or so) shoots through the chest? ;D
Wanna watch that now!

LOL, more like 260 shots plus all the free falls and being hit by concrete, vehicles etc etc and still he's alive. I guess that's why they call the movie Die Hard.

But I'd recommend you to watch it on the big screen. The edge-of-the-seat suspense and fear would diminish on TV, I think :)

And I don't know whether I'd ever be able to survive winter, or even spring or autumn in the 4-season countries!

I think this year you can count our summer to this category as well. We had 12 degrees left the last days in our place. In July!!! I wear the thick double duvet and hand knitted Hobbit socks at night. *shiver*

No one can beat the first movie! And not Alan Rickman as The Villain. Yippikaye!!! *giggles* I LOVED the first movie and will naturally see this one too. :)

I love the first and the third movies but somehow the second one didn't make that much of an impression on me. I just remember lots of snow in it and that's it. i think it must be Alan Rickman and Jeremy Irons that makes me love the 1st and 3rd ones.

The 4th one is very exciting!
