The Knuckles of Skinnybone Tree by hansbekhart.

Go read, like, right now. Written for the spn_j2_bigbang challenge, so that means it's satisfying long, something that you could really sink your teeth into. And believe me, this story is absolutely amazing.

I'm not writing any summary here, or an exerpt, because this story needs to be read without knowing what it's all about to bring out its full flavour, so to speak. So, put your feet up, maybe hang a 'Do Not Disturb' sign outside your door and well, enjoy!

Just a note. This is a Wincest, but quite a number of the commentors ( yup, I read the comments, too, just barely restraining myself from butting into each thread ) said that they love the story despite them not being entirely comfortable with wincest, so yeah, it's good.

Ahh, you need to read it real slowly because yes, the initial part is a bit confusing but once you reallize who Robert and Jimmy actually are ...

And that's not actually a spoiler because you'll find that out fairly early in the story.

You've read it to the end then! Robert and Jimmy are the same Robert and Jimmy at the beginning of the story. It's John's perception of them that changed a bit at the end. My take is that he couldn't accept who they really are, so in his mind the two hunters are back to being just Robert and Jimmy.

Btw, do you realize who Michael actually was?

It's Michael from 'Something Wicked'!! He's a young hunter now, eager and all-hero worship for Sam and Dean. He's the one that let the cat out of the bag heheh oh boy, Sam's and Dean's reaction as well as John's are absolutely brilliant :D

Season 2? Wow, that's fast!! There's no news yet of S2 airing on our local TV yet. Nasib baik ada AXN. Btw, I really, really enjoyed the video clip at the end of each episode that you sent. And Dean at the beginning of 'Born Under a Bad Sign' - when he was talking to Ellen - he ripped out my heart there.

Oh, not Season 2. It's the Pilot episode and Wendigo. And the station treated them as one two hour show, so I guess that's all. No more. :(
