As much as i love the boys I tend to think "dude, jared did so good in this scene' than 'I can't believe he has to kill her!' I mean i DO think that...lol..I just send more time thinking about the actors than whats going on in the show :D

Seriously, it's all of the above. But that brother interaction is the biggest factor for me. To see two siblings who care about each other so much, brought together in so much tragedy, keeps me riveted. That Jared and Jensen bring them to such vivid life every week is why I love THEM. It's all connected, really. Love, Robin

You put what I feel about the show perfectly. It's not the ghosts and ghoulies or guns, but the brother interaction, complicated family dynamics, and imperfect fraternal love in the midst of tragedy that the show explores that has invaded my whole being. :-)

Because to be honest, I was immune to this show for one year. I didn't care with Jared, I didn't even know Jensen, and I didn't make an attempt to see the show... if not for that one sentence, "I can't do this alone."

And my heart melted, and my world was changed.

Oh there're plenty of great gen fics out there. And I love the teens and cracks, too. The fanfics are what'll keep the fandom going once the show is cancelled or something *gasps*

i picked jared and jensen, even though it's the show, them, sam and dean... and i've been known to squee over some fanfic lol.

i picked jared and jensen though because i've been fans of jensen for 11 years and jared about 4, lol.

but then again even before i knew jared was on the show when i heard about the show i was intrigued, lol. i like the whole supernatural/paranormal stuff...

I didn't know them before SPN. Never watched Samllville, DA, GG or HoW, so yeah, Jensen=Dean and Jared=Sam. It felt wierd when I watched HoW the other day and saw "Sam" there without his "Dean" :)
