I was shrieking, yes, shamelessly shrieking with delight and was literally jumping up and down my chair, when Dean said "Is that Matt Damon?" in 'Hollywood Babylon'. And yeah, 'Good Will Hunting' is Jared's favourite movie, too. So. Matt Damon love all around there :DD

Anyway.

Dean Winchester vs Jason Bourne.

I love my Dean. I really do. And if it comes to anything Supernatural, Dean is The Man. But what if there's nothing Supernatural about it. And for some reason Dean and Bourne are in a hand-to-hand combat ( maybe Dean thought that Bourne is after Sam or something, NO, not *that* way, but maybe Bourne thought that Sam is an undercover from the CIA assigned to bring him in ). Who would you think would win?

Just wrote this for the OTP 'cos - well 'cos she's my OTP. But you're so incredibly obsessed with this programme, I thought you might like it too... :-)

"Oh for the love of ..." Sam shook his head and gazed out of the window, hand covering the growing smile on his face.

It was a good day. The sun was shining, the birds were probably singing (of course he couldn't hear them over the absolute crap Dean insisted on playing) and the grass was no doubt growing. Somewhere the corn was as high as an elephant's eye... Oh sure, there were bad guys and incredibly horrible shit out there and they were going to be up to their collective necks in it soon, but right now was good. It was what having a brother was all about. Just driving and - bickering. He turned his head and caught Dean's gaze, which quickly slipped away so that he appeared to be concentrating on driving.

"This is good," Sam said quietly. Or comparatively quietly since the car - 'she' - was making a really weird clunking noise. "Y'know?"

"Yeah." The side of Dean's mouth twitched in a near-smile. "Yeah, it is."

Oh Cass, that is just so wonderful! You caught Dean's love for his Impala so perfectly. His love for his Impala is almost right up there with his love for his father and his brother. In a way, it's his way to connect with John, because that car was his father's before he passed it on to Dean.

Dean will of course protect Sam at any cost, they will fight it out but Sam being the intelectual man that he is, will help solve everything diplomatically, all misunderstandings will clear up and Bourne will help Dean get rid of Hendericksen. Now, isn't that an awesomely cool plot?

Sorry Dean but I'd have to vote for Jason Bourne here.

Dean may be taller but that kind of doesn't mean anything because most fights progress to the floor and once you're inside someone's reach it's really hard to cause hurt with reach. Not to mention Bourne's been trained as a pro, Dean's got skills but it's survival for bar fights and handling the supernatural.

This is, of course, right when Sam needs to go pick up a gun and shoot Jason Bourne in the head to save his brother.

Then we can have angsting cuz Dean's killed someone human on Sam's behalf before and there wasn't NEAR enough angst for my little twisted heart.
