Woo hoo. I'm going to watch 'The Bourne Ultimatum'. Today. I'M SO EXCITED OMG!!!

And in celebration of fi-nal-ly getting to watch Bourne, here's a picspam of Matt and Ben, my OTP since forever.

They're childhood buddies and I love it that they remain best buddies all these years.

Love it that Matt would always mention Ben in interviews. And vice versa.

Love it that they go on vacations together. They went to Tanzania recently, without Jen and Luciana. Hee!

Love it that keep on having projects together. And that they almost always go to each other's premiers.

Love it that Matt likes to reminiscence about their Harvard days and the days when they were both struggling actors.

So, without further ado, here's Matt and his hetero life partner, Ben. His words, not mine. And oh yeah, how awesome is it that they once made the cover of 'The Advocate'? And that they were seen sharing cigarettes during their Project Greenlight days?

Those Harvard pics were actually taken after Matt left undergrad, after he and Ben did Good Will Hunting. The two of them came back to speak on behalf of the maintenance workers on campus who wanted better conditions (higher pay, if I remember correctly). How awesome is that?

I guess it's hard to break a friendship that started when you were 8 and 10. They were together in high school, in Havard, dropped out together ( that must have been a momentous decision ) and got their first taste of success together. And Matt was very supportive of Ben during his many crises. Love those two.

I don't know if they're lovers, but it's easy to see that they love each other very much. Their friendship has stood the test of time. Success could have torn them apart. It's happened to many in Hollywood, but they've stayed close through it all. Thanks for the great pictures, darling. I know you'll love the movie. Let us know what you think after you've seen it, okay?

I don't know if they're lovers

Hee hee, but it's nice to imagine that they are, indeed, boyfriends. I remember Ben saying in this one magazine ( can't remember which one ), Ben was asked when he's going to get married and I squeed like anything when he said that he and his sweetheart, Matt, had set a day and that they heard that it was legal in Massachusetts :DD

I love how they're all about playing up the gay rumors. There's an old clip of Ben on TRL, addressing the question if he & Matt are gay. Ben's answer: "the answer is...it's a secret." Not the normal clever answer I'd expect from Ben, but still delicious in every way. *sigh* if only that clip would surface on youtube.

Actually, I think you're referring to the closing night of the broadway musical, "The Boy from Oz," which starred Hugh Jackman. Hugh brought Matt up on stage from the audience & gave him a lap dance to the tune of a song called 'Bi-coastal' (it's about being bisexual, as his character is in the musical). Then both Hugh & Matt gave a lap dance to Barbara Walters, who was also attending the performance. Funny stuff, wish I could have been there.
