I was reading 'Cell' when I came to the part where Ardai told Clay that they would find him dead in his bed the next morning. So that Jordan would agree to go with them. Not that I'm particularly fond of the Headmaster, but I didn't see that coming and it was like a punch to the stomach. And the lines that he used in that particular scene - they remind me why King is the master in his particular genre, and why I bought his books the minute they hit the bookshelves, sometimes even without knowing what they're all about.

Anyway, I think I've finally reached the point of no return in this book - you know, the point when the book starts to become unputdownable, that you have to finish reading it no matter what. Which is pg 262, btw.

I've been chipping away at 'Cell' for many months already, LJ and fanfics have been taking a lot of my reading time for the past couple of years, and it's high time I finish this book. Yup, things are getting more exciting and nail-biting, now that there're the possibilities of the phone-crazies communicating by telepathy, and that they're screaming rage and revenge for Clay et al blowing up the group at the stadium.

I hope I'd get to the Point of No Return with 'Deathly Hallows' soon, too. I'm nowhere near halfway yet and I still haven't got the urge to finish it, despite me dying to know what happened to Snape ( my hero in the HP series, or anti-hero as the case may be ).
