If there's a petiton somewhere for you to not leave Khalil behind, I'd sign it. Twice. The second one would be on behalf of Tico.

You're a sweetie! I wish more than anything that there was no trouble in getting both of them there...But he really is in good hands right now. I actually feel better about him being there than worrying more about getting him safely there. Now I'm worried about Tico! *hugs*

I just read Claudia's post and my heart ached. I read the post with giving him over and I froze because I had no idea what was going on. So I went a couple of posts below and I saw her decision post =(

I'm going to miss Khalil and his silly moments. I feel really bad for Claudia. This is exactly what's going to happen when I go to the US to study; Toffee isn't coming along for the ride because my sister can't let go of her. I've had Toffee for almost four years, so I can't imagine how Claudia feels. She's had Khalil for a much longer time than I've had Toffee =(

Reading about Khalil and Tico is like reading a cockatiel's version of Mills and Boon, or the Harlequin romance - the reluctant heroine, the persistent hero :)

When are you going to the US? And which part? My nephew is studying in Iowa right now. He has one more year to go.

Depends on where I get accepted. Already sent two applications and will send one in a couple of days. There's a fourth, but we're waiting a bit since its deadline is in May and we want to see what replies I'll get from these first three. Area-wise, ideally, either Virginia or Boston.

Can you believe that I had to look up Mills and Boon? lol, I'm that unfamiliar with popular romance publishers =P But yeah, Tico and Khalil do sound like that. I hope Khalil runs away and flies all the way to Claudia's new home =D <is going insane.

It's actually embarassing to even write the words 'Mills&Boon' *blushes* I didn't really like them, but dutring those good old days when I used to read a book a day, I'd read them if I have nothing else. My prefered romance when I was young were those written by Denise Robins and Barbara Cartland. I read the ones that belonged to my sisters :)
