I only decided last week when those two blew me away with their perfomances. Last night wasn't as good as last week but IMO the best two of the night. I wish I could vote!
I'd be very upset and shocked if those two were out. No! Don't say anything, we'll get to see the results tonight - but I'm thinking the country girl would be the one eliminated.
I don't usually watch American Idol, but I watched last night because they were doing all Lennon/McCartney songs, and I know every one of those. When I was in my early teens I typed (on an actual typewriter!) all the lyrics to every song. Just because.
To answer your question, I do not like her, but I do like this guy. He would be my first choice as far as a future star, but I thought Chikeze (sp?) gave the best performance.
I love all songs by the Beatles and last night was a great night overall.
I didn't like David Cook initially. I thought him arrogant and smug but he won me over with his 'Hello' last week which was a total blast. And now I'm totally in love with him, attitude and all :D
Huh, I didn't think I knew this song (Hello), but it sounds vaguely familiar. Once again, any music that's come out in the last couple of decades usually has me scratching my head, going, "WTF?"
I didn't like the attitude of some of the AI contestants, but others are intriguing. I'm going to tune in tonight (in about 5 minutes, in fact) to see who's left.
I won't spoil it for you, but I thought they made the right choice. 29 million people voted, which means a lot more were watching who didn't vote (like me and my mom). Bummer we can't get those numbers for SPN! Hey, maybe they need to do an all-singing-all-dancing episode, like Buffy, and Xena, and Hercules all did. Then again, considering the Xmas episode -- maybe not!
For me it's Bo Bice. But I still watch AI, maybe not with the same dedication as before, though. Oh heck, what am I talking about. I'm addicted to reality shows!
