When less is more.
Jun. 2nd, 2008 05:25 pm"A broken man raises his sons in a home called Impala, in a town called Road, with lullabies of wheels and the feel of silver, taste of Holy Water, sound of salt their mother's milk."
I love that line. A lot. From
sadelyrate's Sub Rosa verse, which is made up of gorgeous, non-explicit Sam/Dean snippets, one for every letter of the alphabet. Exquisitely written, each one of them.
And
teand also wrote this series of alphabet drabbles a little while back. One of my favourites, 'Destiny' : "I'm Han Solo, always have been. I've got the big gun, the cool ship, the hairy sidekick."
"I thought I was Luke." Half a mile down the road, he added. "He had a thing for his sister, you know."
"You haven't got a sister."
"Not exactly, but you can be a bossy bitch at times... Ow!"
