OMG Jared and Jensen at the Soap Box Derby!

Never heard of that Derby before but I presume it's a derby where actors entered a race or something?

But anyway, Jared and Jensen were there!!! Though how on earth Jared managed to fit himself into one of the cars, carts? is a mystery to me.

Hee, they looked so good together, and they were wearing Vancouver Canuck hockey jerseys with their names on the back, so cute!

There weren't up there long before they zoom off in their little RedBull Can carts. *snort* Jared had such a hard time getting his legs in the freakin' thing. He called Jensen a wiener. WHICH I ACTUALLY HAVE ON VID! IF I can just upload the bloody thing. *glares at Youtube* AND THEY'RE OFF! Dude.. it's no contest. Jared was ahead the entire way. He crosses the line and sits at the finish line laughing. Jensen comes up and looks like he's about to ram right into him, then jerks the wheel at the last minute and ends up driving around him to crash into the guard-rail hay.

Aw, that's so cute! Soap box derbys are just races from homemade cars that kids used to make long ago here all the time, out of junk mostly. They'd just start at the top of a hill and race down to the finish line. No engine of course. Now they are more rare and sometimes done for charity events. :-) Jared won because he weighs more. I learned from Cub Scouts pine car derby that more weight makes them go faster downhill. ;-)

Heee, well, back when my mom and dad were kids, laundry soap flakes came in great big boxes that kids could make into 'soap box' cars. Nowadays, it only seems to come in plastic bottles, which I'm sure neither of the JJs would fit into. ;-)

"Weiner" loosely translates to "pussy" in my head. Just a little politer way to call Jensen a total "wuss." Hee! And yes, Jared is about ten mentally most of the time so it all makes sense.

They should have weighted Jensen's cart so he at least had a chance. He is a very good sport, but then again . . . maybe he just did the whole event so he could witness Jared trying to make his Sasquatch-length legs fit in that bitty little can-car. I can see him giggling as he easily got in his! Shorter, bow legs had to be an asset just this one time, hmmmm?

They are adorable in their hockey jerseys. I bet after they went home and Jared made up for beating Jensen by doing many lovely naughty kinky things to him, they both wandered around the house the rest of the day in just their jerseys. *goes dreamy-eyed and drools a bit* Somebody should make a manip of that . . . Ü

I totally agree that someone needs to write fic about the aftermath of the race, once they can relax and just wear those hockey jerseys. I wouldn't object at all to manips, either!

I'm can't write such a story, since I'm still trying to find the energy to write the Bill & Ted story that's due at the end of next month. It's been so damned hot here it's been hard to sit in front of the computer for very long. With no air conditioning, and windows that are stuck shut, it's a lot hotter upstairs than it is downstairs. Another reason I really should look into getting a laptop someday! And those pics of the boys did nothing to cool the temperature last night!

They both look pretty good, the easy smiles and the laughter, and Jared goofing around as usual. I wish I could see them racing, and see Jared reaching the line first, laughing while he waited for Jensen.
