What an awesome, awesome episode that was, and yes, Oselle, it's as good as any fanfic if not better, and never thought that I'd say this, but it's better than some of the best episodes from seasons 1 and 2, too. Managed to download it before I went off to Inlawsville, but unfortunately I couldn't squee with anybody since I wasn't online. i_o_r_h_a_e_l and I texted each other like crazy about how insanely HOT Jensen was.

The husband loves it, too. He cracked me up when he said this to the kids after one wisecrack too many - "Show me some respect", complete with Castiel-like expressions and all lol.

But seriously, it rocked right from the word go. There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about it. From Dean sleeping on the floor with little brother on the couch, to Victor and Meg ( OMG! ) and Ron and the twins, Sam's encounter with Ruby - they smite first and ask questions later - Sam driving with Dean sleeping, BOBBY!! and of course ... Castiel ... the unknown entity, the angel with the dark edge, I so much prefer this angel to Michael Landon.


Meg. I wouldn't have recognized her if I hadn't seen a cap of her from 'Ghost Whisperer'. And what she said about her little sister? Totally heart-wrenching. Superb acting from Nicki Aycox.


And of course, Castiel. Awesome, awesome chemistry with Jensen.


Sam scooting over without a word when Dean asked him to. So cute!


And did Sam foot-nudge Dean there?


And lastly but not least, differential size kink *whimpers*

And yes, Meg was beyond awesome. Oh boy, was she mad at the boys. Angry spirits, she and Ron and Henricksen, doesn't matter that they were on good terms with the hunters when alive, they're livid as ghosts!

Btw, I think Bobby only has rooms for single beds. Dean won't be able to sleep without Sam near so he'd rather sleep on the floor than sleeping alone. :D

It was a great episode. :-D Nicki Aycox has terrific acting chemistry with Jensen. They are both high caliber and really play well off each other.

I'm really enjoying how much sleeping!Dean has been in the season so far.

I don't know what's going to happen Thursday here because the Vice Presidential debates are supposedly going to be picked up by the CW at the same time as Show normally comes on, so they may be delaying broadcast or changing the time, or who knows what. I've seen lots of rumors but nothing definite. *bites nails*

I usually get my download links by Friday morning ( my time ) and the connection's usually very fast at those hours. I hope we'll get to see it at the usual time.

It's kind of funny actually, Dean/Castiel scenes got me all hot and bothered, too, but after a couple of Dean/Castiel fics, I found that I couldn't really read that pairing. Dean-Castiel gen fics yes, but not the slashy ones. Dean still belongs to Saaaaaaaamm!!

I have very high hopes for the rest of the season. Unlike season 2, I stopped downloading eps after the second episode, and only started downloading again from 'Malleus Malcifarum' onwards.

I agree they work wonderfully together as ACTORS. And that Castiel/Mischa is ten kinds of hot (though I suspect I could eat him up and spit him out with ease - he doesn't strike me as a very manly man - and I like my men very manly).

But no "CHEMISTY" Chemistry.

Ha! Luckily Castiel is smaller that Dean otherwise Sam/Jared would have VERY SERIOUS COMPETITION INDEED!! As it is, Sam still wins in the size kink dept, no competition there :))

And like what I said to angels3 above, the Dean-Castiel chemistry works for me ( BIG TIME ) but not in the slashy way. To me, Castiel is a bit like Dean's big brother.

And oh, I wouldn't mind it if Castiel went up and personal with me ... *g*

Btw, I've been spoiled for the next ep's title.

I've found a couple that did it for me but most of them haven't lived up to the way it needs to be done for it to work and do not ask me what that way is I have no idea. You know when you read it and you go that's it, that's how it's supposed to be. That's what I mean. It's like mpreg it has to be done right or for that matter threesomes. I don't know what the IT factor is and I guess it's probably different for everybody but you know it when you read it.

Oh man! I'm finally catching up on emails. Dude, what did they spoil you for in 4x03?? And where do you go that people are so inconsiderate? I don't think I've seen that much outside of cuts on my flist, even the comms. Although the comms have been pretty shit for spoilers immediately after the episode. I've gone on after having dl'd the show and seen posts there that have had caps outside the cut just hours after. It's way worse than it used to be.

Sam not going to be in the episode. And the title. And that it was a time-travel story. I still enjoyed it very much, though, despite the spoilers. Seeing young John and Mary was totally unexpected, and Mary being a hunter.

I'm totally unspoiled for the next episode. So far. Except for that bromance thingy. That I don't mind knowing.

I'm glad it didn't ruin the viewing for you. But there was soo much GOOD in that episode (some in the good but bad kinda way) that it would be hard not to love it.

Me too. And I firmly intend to stay that way. I've got a place where I can get my link without needing to go anywhere near my friends page or a comm so that I can get it without fear of spoiling so friday's are far less stressful now!

Dean's totally gonna find out about Sam and Ruby the next episode, that is my guess anyway, and they are gonna have it out with each other.
