Last night hubby said that this is Dean's song. I didn't know that song so I listened to it, and I was like, omg omg, he's into Dean more than he's letting on!! Coupled with what he said before about Dean being beautiful and his random comment on car!Dean here, I think hubby has a crush on Dean!! Or else he just wanted me to feel good :))

Isn't it weird? P said he was beautiful too, and I've never heard him say that about any other guy. Not in 38 years of knowing him. I guess Jensen's a man's man. Or else P's finally in touch with his feminine side. *g*

Same thing here. Mine never said anything about Elijah or Orli or Josh but he has lots of things to say about Dean. He even has his own theory on how SPN is going to end.

It is not outlandish for straight men to have the hots of other men, is it? * is a little worried*

Nope. ;-) I think because Dean is very masculine, butch really, very aggressive, has all these girls wherever he goes, yet takes care of his family and has even started to talk about feelings more, he has much for men to admire and feel good about liking him as a hero.

He watched it from the very beginning with me. Back then when I wasn't yet into SPN, I was scared to watch it alone, I managed to convince him to watch it with me when I said that half of the production team came from 'The X-Files', and he's a fan of that show. And now he's a fan of SPN as well!

But what I'm afraid is if your husband actually identifies himself with Dean. No, no. I'm not kidding. Men usually do that, you know. Like my brother, he keeps saying something like, well, (think of a male model here) really looks like me, doesn't he?

Oh he didn't understand Dean straightaway. It's only lately that he seems to be getting the insight on Dean.

I think my husband mostly identifies with the brother in Dean ( and I believe that''s the case of most men who like Dean, the straight ones at least *g* ). He has 6 brothers and he is very close to all of them. I think annwyn55's P is very close to his brother, too, and maybe that's why he likes Dean. And if I'm not mistaken Kripke himself said that he and his brother are very close, and that's how he identifies with Sam and Dean.

Hee, as long as hubby is not thinking of selling his soul for his brothers ...

The LJ-hubbies here seem to have a preference for Dean/Jensen. Like Annwyn above said, Jensen's a man's man as much as he is a woman's man!
