Omg. Eye of the tiger. They simply couldn't wait to show that, could they? They just have to show it now, and not wait for the gag reel. Never thought it possible that you could cringe and squee at the same time. Because Dean lip-synching and doing all those moves, I was torn between ahh-ing and eww-ing. Jared laughing in the background was too adorable for words, and we've heard many times of the sense of family on the set of SPN, and you know, sometimes you wonder whether that's all talk, but to see that Jensen-extra at the end of the show, with the crew cheering him on is too, too priceless for words, and yeah, I'm totally convinced now that they're all one big family over there.

Aww ... he's adorable ...


As for the episode itself, God, I love it. The ultimate gift to fans of limp!Dean. And Kripke'd like anything. Juli must be on seventh heaven *waves at Juli if she's reading this* because her fic Courage? Is eerily like the Dean in that episode. Read that if you haven't already!

Poor Dean. All his fears shoved down his throat, so to speak - the hellhounds, Lilith, going back to hell, and his utmost fear - Sam going dark. Oh I was laughing alright almost all the way through but I felt like crying, too, because his fears there were very real indeed.

My favouritest part - Sam and Dean taking off their shoes before going into the Sheriff's room. Because you know, that's such an Asian thing to do *squeeees*

Did you watch it with your daughter, Julia? I watched it with the whole family and we were all howling with laughter. Well, most of the time anyway. I was sorry that Dean had to go through all that all over again, for what seemed like the gazillionth time. Poor Dean, but really, it's all Jensen's fault for being able to do the dying man very well!

I watched for a second time with The Husband and he loved it - laughing out loud so many times. He didn't see any angst in it, but then he's a guy, they don't see things like that!

Omg yes, that top! It hugs him in all the right places!!! My husband loves it too, and he esp loves Jensen doing his Eye of the Tiger thing.

There's only one part that I thought wasn't quite convincing - Jensen's shriek when Sam opened that metal cabinet and they saw that kitty. I thought that was a little OTT, but the rest? Is perfect.

Edit : I mean my hubby loves the episode, not the top! Heheh.

The Husband loved the kitty scream but thought the whole Eye of the Tiger thing was embarrassing and a total set up - set up as in it was planned and rehearsed. He was so convincing I was almost tempted to agree with him.

Tapum is watching - I get a weekly email from her about the episode - but she's not Japanese. She's actually Thai but living in Japan at the moment. I'll ask her what he said but right now she hates Japanese, she says it's too hard!

While she's trying to learn Japanese her English has become.... interesting. It takes me a while to decode her emails!!

I loved the ep and I loved the Eye of the Tiger thing.

When the kitty showed up and the way Dean was screaming? Really hilarious. Bizarre, yes, but hilarious. And then when he grinned sheepishly and said, "That was scary!" it was the icing on the cake.

Did you notice that, at the end, Sam and Bobby were talking about Dean and Sam said, "He's adorable"? Yes, he is.

OMG...This episode ROCKED! I was cracking up. I will say that I actually thought Dean was cute in this because he was so funny. Jared..well I always think he's freakin hot. But when Dean did that girlie scream, mouth wide open I was freakin laughing!! The end, OMG fantastic and I agree that hearing Jared giggling in the background was hysterical. Oh and when the word "cock" was mentioned and the look on Jensen's face as that sherrif was being dead on straight. It was a fantastic episode. I will rewatch this one I think!

Oh Vee, huge!strong!protective!Sam and wee!hurt!scared!Dean has been my kink big time since forever, and Kripke gave us an overdose of that with that episode. And they just had to use that word cock, and Dean with his dirty mind immidiately went to the gutters! Ha, I've already watched it like, three times already. And I can't wait for the companion fics to this movie. I want to read about Dean sharing Sam's bed because he's scared of the dark!!
